Fantastic pub!I had planned a 3 day hike in the peaks and forgot to find parking... Popped in and asked if I could rent a space for a few days, I was told to leave my car in view of the cctv so they could keep am eye on it and there would be no charge!I came back and had a fantastic meal to end a fantastic trip!The staff were so kind, the food was excelent! And the atmosphere was really nice!

Great pub with good selection of beers and wine. Only one vegetarian choice on the menu though. In this modern age that needs to be improved.

8 of us plus a high chair stopped by for a meal and it was absolutely beautiful . The food was lovely quality, would highly recommend. The staff are all friendly and very welcoming. Shame you can't book , but we were lucky that didn't matter. 5 stars.

Great pub with a nice beer garden and the kids play area is also very good.Plenty of beer choice.Food was good, we had a Sunday roast. Kids food was terrible. We ordered pizza and chips, the pizza was thick bready bought which was very dry and hard for a 3 year old to eat.Staff are very friendly.

Used as a pub only, decent selection of beer for December, the meal was an absolute gem, Ordered bangers and mash and Wow loved it. Cannot recommend it enough.

The Travellers Rest
We came around two weeks ago with a gigantic table and were given our own little section to sit in, the staff did really well with serving (especially as some members of the group didn’t remember what they had etc). They were patient with us and everyone got what they asked for. There was a good selection of drinks to choose from at the bar and the atmosphere was good. I hope we weren’t too loud or annoying to look after- big thanks to the team

Really cozy and charming place. I wished they had more vegetarian options, but overall definitely recommend
