Honestly we could not have asked for better care and reassurance for our son Oscar (aged 7) who had to have a filling due to a chipped tooth. He was guided through each step making the process less daunting. Thank you so much

I've been seeing Dr Hunter for a while now who has guided me through my invisalign journey with the utmost professionalism and care. I could not recommend her enough and I love my new smile. I never thought I'd love how my teeth look. Thank you so much!

I had my first hygienist appt yesterday & I was quite nervous of the procedure. I want to thank Maria & her lovely assistant for making me feel at ease throughout. I haven’t stopped looking at my teeth as there’s been a massive difference compared to before & I’ve already booked my next appt for 6 months time :).

After three years of emails telling me not to book an appointment due to Covid, I finally tried to book an appointment for a check up now that things have settled down. However, they've now informed me that because I hadn't booked an appointment for three years, I'd been removed as an NHS patient.Amazing. Send your patients emails telling them not to book appointments. Then drop them as patients because they haven't booked an appointment.

Reception staff were welcoming and helpful, Hassan, dentist, was efficient, pleasant and communicative, was pleased with how he conducted his checkup and would be very happy to be seen by him again in the future.

Very painful tooth extraction at a different private dentist following a farce of treatment at this place! Had root canal but pain still after. My dentist just wouldn't take me seriously, she put me on a waiting list, a refferal sent out to the dental hospital. No word from them. Eventually, the pain too great, desperate I went to a private dentist. The procedure was brutal! Curved roots. She said because I've been in pain so long this is likely the reason why the process is so painful? Perhaps inner swelling? They used so much numbing but it wasn't doing any good. Eventually the tooth was half to 3/4 out, at which point I yelped out recoiling into the chair. A shot of pain rang through me pumped with adrenaline! She stopped and administered more meds. God, the pain of waiting was hell. Whatever position the then half in, half out tooth was in, it wasn't a very pleasant one! Just imagine your worst tooth ache multiplied by 10 and you're stuck there with no recorse. She got it out after that and finally the pain went down slowly but consistently. What led to this? This is my second extraction, 1st didn't feel a thing but that 1st one was at this dentist the tooth snapped on the way out and I suffered dry socket (rubbish dentist just brute forced it asap basically.) This time at the private dentist she took her time, she worked slow but precise, I believe. I will take a slower and very painful extraction IF it means no dry socket afterwards. And this time I have a clot! So far, so good. Fingers crossed. But what really bothers me is this place, HONOUR HEALTH (they do anything but honour your health!). I've been in pain for 2 years, no exaggeration.. 2 bloody years and all to save these 2 teeth that are now both gone. All gone! My 1st dentist here (at HH) such an awful (not just dentist but practice)!! 'Honour Health, Jesmond' in Newcastle Upon Tyne. I've had 2 dentists here and I've been in pain for 2 years. Ridiculously long periods between appointments that in the 1st case led to the roots shrinking to the point where she could no longer finish the frigging work! 'A more competent dentist was required, who had a microscope' and a pretty fee of £600 to come with it. Extraction! 2nd tooth, 1st half same dentist till I changed after legitimate concern of not only her competency but professionalism. Different dentist now at this same practice (HH) now coming up on year 2 after more long breaks between appointments, the 2nd full year in dental pain and but she finishes the root canal. But I'm still in pain after. 3 odd months of waiting, 3 rounds of different antibiotics, nothing helping. Pain is constant but fluctuates between a 3 and a 7 every 12 hours approximately. Put on waiting list for the 'dental hospital, pain clinic'. Call clinic, they move so slow they've not even seen my refferal yet (3 weeks later.) Pain was getting seriously unbearable now, call the dentist (HH) and get told there's nothing they can do, I'm to wait for the refferal. So in unbearable pain now, desperate, I went to a private practice. They laid out the options and due to cost I went for extraction. Only after the tooth was out could the issue be seen. The things sticking out of the lower tooth roots, all 3, this line thing that she put in was sticking out too far and essentially stabbing into my jaw. Her botched root canal work went too deep I'm told, by about 2mm in 1 and 1mm - 0.25 in the other 2. For months I was left in pain following the completion of the root canal, told there was nothing they can do while swelling and infection festered in my jaw thanks to her botched work! Mistakes happen, I get it. But how we deal with these mistakes is imperative when it comes to medicince and they are truly beyond incompetent in this regard. They just left me to get sicker after their botched work. It is not right. 'Honour Health in Jesmond, Newcastle Upon Tyne'. They have a shiny space, nice new equipment and rooms, posh area, they're a shiny label but absolutely awful and outright dangerous underneath. I'm pretty upset with all I've gone through.

Had my regular hygienist appointment with the excellent Maria. She is very calm and reassuring. My teeth are sensitive and I am a nervous patient but she helps me though. Maria noticed that I have a very small break on a back molar. I hadn't spotted that. Just a bit disappointed that I have to wait 4 weeks to get it fixed. I know that you are very busy.

I've been to a lot of different dentists over my life as I've moved around a lot. Now I'm glad to be settled in Newcastle as I can honestly say Honour Health is the best dental practise I've ever been to. My dentist, Helen, is incredibly lovely and I always feel like she's working with me to help me take care of my teeth. My dental hygiene has improved a lot since being with Honour Health just because they seem to genuinely care and take the time to talk through any concern, no matter how small. I have seen other dentists at the practise in the past when I first joined, and they had the same lovely attitude as Helen so I think it must be a practise culture. Would definitely recommend!

I was provided with gentle, professional care and genuine helpful advice on keeping my teeth clean at home. I'm usually a bit sensitive about my teeth, but here I felt completely safe and I was impressed by Hannah's attention to detail. Strongly recommended!
