Dreadful, bought a tent garage less than 2 years agao and it was torn up and from a storm. Then when I called to buy a new cover they said it was discontinued and I had to buy a whole new one

Great place if you know what you want, but if you are looking for advice and guidance on equipment before you buy, you will not find it here. The staff are there just to sell and have very little knowledge of the tools and equipment they are selling.I would advise that you read up on your potential purchase before you go. B&Q may not have the quality but they do have staff who know and understand the products they are selling.Just a short update went to Lincoln branch today to buy sanding discs, and belt sand pape, also a new blade for the saw blades, to say they were not helpful is an understatement also a lesson in manners and how to treat customers would not go amiss.So wasted trip came away with nothing so now will stick to ebay at least you don't have to deal with stroppy staff

LINCOLN STORE IS NOT A PROBLEM REALLY FRIENDLY STAFF, ITS THE MAIN HEAD OFFICE IN NOTTINGHAM IS THE PROBLEM , WHO EVER SETS UP THESE SPECIAL VAT FREE DISCOUNT DEALS ARE NOT DOING THERE JOB PROPERLY IS THE PROBLEM WHEN YOU BUY ITEMS VAT FREE , THEN THEY SAY OH THAT ITEMS NOT INCLUDED , YET IT IS ON THE WEB SITE ITS AS VAT FREE ETC,,AT THE END OF THE DAY ITS ONLY £24 QUID, ITS JUST THE HOLE PRINCEPILE OF IT ,THEY SHOULD HONOUR THE OFFER AS STATED , I AM TAKING THIS TO TRADING STANDARDS AS ITS FULSE ADVERTISING ETC, WATCH THIS SPACE,,

Ordered on phone direct and paid for next day delivery but after a two day wait phoned them to inform them of awaited urgent item and was told that item had not been dispatched and because they had ticked incorrect box on delivery instruction that I would not receive for a further five days.Gross incompetence!!!

Plenty of items and a wide range to choose from

The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, the delivery side of things is absolutely appalling. Waiting for some work boots that I could have ordered from China and fetched them myself by now.

Excellent store, plenty of choice. From small hand tools up to larger machinery. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, will help if you need any assistance with your purchase. Prices are fair, some good deals to be had at times. Definitely a great place to visit for the diy'er.

Its like tool heaven in this place, staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. A fantastic range of tools and accessories. Well worth a visit and pick up a catalogue on your way out.

Poor staff. Rude, unhelpful. Store never seems to have the stuff in the same areas - bench presses aren’t all together, there’s a few here, a few there and some are even in the back! Not exactly great for someone looking to get something in a rush. Refund policy is a joke.

Gave this place 5 star oy down to the fact the shop is allways very tidy and clean and the stock is well presented and easy to findAnd best of all I've never had a problem with the staff as they allways seem really happy to well wheel spoken and politeOn th either hand I feel the stuff is on the higher side price wise and they won't price match even if it means you go else where for the same product
