Cross Keys Dental Surgery

Had an emergency dental appointment and saw Jon Alexander who was very welcoming and friendly. He talked through the procedure for a tooth extraction and talked throughout and then gave the basic after care information. The reception staff are lovely and friendly. Bit disappointed that they aren't taking on NHS patients at this time and that it be a few months until their books are back open. Another downside is that the dentist didn't give any advice regarding being steroid dependant so have had to ring my own GP due to feeling unwell since getting in. Looking at their private dental fees they are relatively priced with a monthly direct debit option. It is on the 151 bus route with the bus stop directly opposite by Crosskeys train station and the bus stop to go the opposite way being directly outside the practice.

Disgusted. I rang up many months ago to ask if my family could join the waiting list. I was told yes and it was approx 5 months. That time has passed and I rang up today to find out if we are near top of the list to be told that they are not taking on. 5 of us are in desperate need to see a dentist and had I been told earlier I could have been put on a list elsewhere. Absolutely disgraceful!!!!!!!

My mother-in-law nearly died lastnite (cardiac arrest) been down the hospital all nite missed appointment this morning and been told im now struck off for missing 3 appointments in a 12 month. I even offered to provide evidence from the hospital. As explained in January they have been texting appointments to my previous mobile number even though they had previously been given my new number for them to up date. No customer care here what so ever 30 years of my custom and loyalty and that's how i am treated....just a number folks just a bloody number. This is NOT a family oriented practice. It's nice to be important but more important to be nice....just some feedback .....maybe work on providing training in customer service for staff. Thanks for being so customer focused NOT!

I had a emergency appointment on Tuesday after not been able to get a dentist on the NHS for over 3 years! The practice is lovely with all the staff so friendly and the surgery clean. After a weekend of pain and nothing helping my tooth was extracted and I can't thank them enough. Just wish this practice was taking on NHS patients as they are superb.

I needed an emergency appointment with the dentist as the pain in my wisdom tooth was unbearable, I got an appointment that same day to go down to crosskeys dental surgery, baring in mind I’m petrified of dentists and having my teeth out. I cannot fault the way they was towards me, they made me feel extremely comfortable, did not rush me at any point at all, was kind and respectful, and also took into consideration how petrified I was. they done an amazing job taking my tooth out and I feel so much better so it, thank you so much for all the positivity and comforting throughout the process, and thank you so much for doing such an amazing job!:)

phoned up last week inquiring about spaces on NHS for myself, my partner and my children. The receptionist was great at first, fitted us all in today. however, sadly our car tire had popped last night and wasn't brought to our attention until we were due to leave. I called the dentist and informed them of such events and was given a cold shoulder and told that we will all have to go on the waiting list now due to us not informing them at a reasonable time. When explained we told them as soon as we knew, they said the children can have a new appointment but refused to see myself and my partner. Outrageous and completely unprofessional, the circumstances were out of our hands, no sympathy, just judgement.I do not recommend it, it sounds like the dentist likes to throw his toys out of his pram when things don't go his way.

I changed my address with them months ago (January) I rang up today 12/06/19 to see why i hadn't heard anything from them and requested an appointment only to be told they had my old address still because they never updated it ( Not my fault ) and i have been removed off the list and have to wait 6 months to be seen.This is how they keep updating the list because they don`t send out follow up appointments or letters for checkups so when you have missed what they say are appointments they have made for you they remove you and you become unaware of this.

I cannot fault Jon Alexander and all those who work for this practice, they were outstandingly quick and efficient! Defiantly recommend you to family and friends. Thank you!

I have always been seen within a reasonable time frame, appropriate to the situation at hand. I have found advice to always be professional and again appropriate to my personal dental needs, no work which was not necessary has ever been suggested. Outcome, best possible dentistry at a reasonable cost.
