The Treebridge Hotel
The food was very disappointed. I ordered surf and turf ,its always been beef and prawns but today it was a piece of fatty pork. Very disappointed , my husband ordered raised steak he got a dish of corned beef with no potatoes or veg. What a load of rubbish. Definitely not worth the£38 pounds we paid for the two meals . Will not be going again and would not recommend it.

Visited tonight with my partner to celebrate her birthday, ordered our meals and i got the wrong meal. My partner also got the wrong meal but as it was similar we thought it was the correct order. i complained that i ordered chicken but did not get chicken, the waitress apologised and took my meal away. a minute later a waiter came to the table apologised to my partner that she also had the wrong meal and took the meal away leaving my partner still chewing the food and with the cutlery still in her hands. we were brought our correct meals but by this time i had lost my appetite as i was boiling inside at the way the second meal was snatched away. i do understand that mistakes can happen but there is a way to handle it. After i paid the bill i asked if there was someone i could speak to about the service and he said to talk to him, i asked if he would like to speak somewhere private and he replied no here is fine. i explained all the above and his reply was what can i say

The most beautiful place. Cosy comfortable clean and a great location. Staff were great had a GF menu which was brilliant, the food was tasty and well cooked. Sunday roast was like homemade. We were just made to feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Would come again.

Have previously visited and had a great time with the food and staff, however our recent visit was very disappointing and I will not be returning.I ordered a seafood linguine dish, and I had to send it back. The linguine had an unappetising texture, and the taste was marred by the, and I hate to say this, disgusting smell coming from the seafood. The calamari was rubbery, and the prawns stank of ammonia/urine, but the mussels were so bad It made me retch and the others at the table could smell it. The staff handled it well, however they were forgetful and it was difficult to get their attention. I ended up having to stand up and return my dish, which they gratefully didn't charge for, and eat my partner's side dish. A member of staff did come and apologise, assuring us that the food is fresh, which I unfortunately did not believe, as my seafood had definitely gone off. I would like for this to be a learning point, and ask that staff are more careful with food storage and safety, because this caused great embarrassment to myself, and I assume is what caused my stomach upset later in the day.Edited to add, I forgot to mention that it took an hour from ordering for our food to begin arriving. There was only one other group/table in the dining area at this time.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.The hotel is well positioned for all the sites and attractions around Yorkshire and Cumbria. I highly recommend a stay there

Went for tea. Was gorgeous. Beautifully decorated for Xmas. Very classy. Staff are so lovely.. HelpfulAnd out to please. Probably one of my favourites. The location has fantastic views if Roseberry topping. Set in a lovely countryside yet just up the road from Nunthorpe or further past into the lovely village of Old Nunthorpe. Never had a bad meal. Lovely play area and views with tables to eat out in summer.. Children have swings and climbing forts to enjoy. It's a must visit. Just the entrance way. Looked stunning.

Not only have I had the pleasure of visiting the Treebridge as a guest to sample the lovely food but also as a photographer to photograph weddings there. Lovely venue, fantastic location with loads of options for outdoor photos and a great team who make the day run smoothly. Looking forward to returning soon.

Easy to get to using google maps.There were functions going on when we arrived but staff were helpful & directed us where we needed to go! Little bit of a wait for service but for a Friday its the same most places.The food was incredible. Really lovely. We did have to ask a couple of times for some water for the table, was brought a wrong drink (which was quickly changed with no fuss!) and ask for missing ‘soil’ on the dessert. Staff were busy and it certainly didn’t ruin our evening! Staff were friendly and informed, and although busy, didn’t seem harassed which is always a bonus!Overall lovely meal and service.

Just been for a mid-day dinner. The service was well beyond dismal.We waited over 40 minutes for coffee and a mince pie to be served after dessert.The whole dinner - three courses and coffee - took over three hours purely because of the service.The staff deliberately avoided eye contact with customers. The food was ok when you got it.I would never go again.
