Civic House

Civic House is a fantastic coworking space offering both fixed desks and hot desking options. From the moment you walk in, you're met with a warm and friendly atmosphere, making it an incredibly welcoming place to work.Since August 2022, our organisation, Glasgow Connected Arts Network, has enjoyed the convenience of their fixed desk setup, which provides a dedicated and well-equipped workspace. For those who prefer variety, hot desking is another great flexible option. We love the sense of community and inspiration Civic House fosters including regular 'Fika' events for co-workers to meet up and learn about each other's work. It's not just a place to work; it's a space where connections are made, and creativity thrives. This inspiring environment is complemented by the well-designed, naturally lit facilities.Civic House also offers hireable spaces, which we've used for various arts-based networking and training events. The flexibility and support from the Civic House team have been invaluable in making these events successful.It's only a 15-20 min walk from Central Station and right next to a bike lane which gets you in to Glasgow City Centre in less than 5 mins.

We were having our conference there. Everything from booking venue, communication and support on the day was fantastic. We had really positive feedback from attendees. The place itself has really good community/ collaboration vibe. We look forward to codebar Scotland future events there

Wonderful co-working spot with the incredible Parveen's serving delicious Pakistani food!

I have been using the hot desks at Civic House for over a year. The coworking space is a cosy, comfortable and friendly space to work in and a great place to meet people from all different types of industries focused on a social purpose!

First attended a gig by Rufus Isabel Elliot here in September 2021 and was delighted to find out there was a dedicated coworking space baked into the building. The whole place turned out to be a lovely hive of creative activity. Excited to see what happens there next.

Civic House is a bright, warm and comfortable space to rent a desk. Lovely big windows to let the light in, well equipped kitchen, close to the canal for lunchtime walks and convenient to get to. You can treat yourself to excellent food in Parveens canteen downstairs as well.

Have really benefitted from having my fixed desk at the co-working space and would highly recommend. It's a beautiful space - bright, airy and with plenty of interesting folk about. The Civic House staff are responsive, inclusive, friendly and helpful. I also love Parveen's <3Something that really stood out to me is the commitment to receiving feedback and acting on it. On my first day back to work and my first official work day in the space I was racially abused (by a random person entering the work space). What I really appreciated was how readily Civic House (Natalie, in particular) drove changes to increase the security of the space and to create a sense of safety afterwards. The co-working space is now more secure i.e. everyone needs a fob to get in to the co-work area among other measures. Whilst the situation was regrettable and traumatic, I really appreciated how seriously they took it, how swiftly they acted and how supportive they were in offering options and ways forward.

Wonderful coworking space and canteen run by lovely people. I rented a fixed desk here in Nov 2022, and have really loved working here. Parveen's canteen is delicious and there are fun events on in the building each month.

I've been hot desking at Civic House for a few months now and I absolutely love it. The space is gorgeous, everyone's super friendly and Parveen's canteen downstairs cooks up the most incredible food and coffee every day (except mondays). I've tried out a few different co-working venues over the years and this is by far the most welcoming and creative space.
