Partial garage conversion. Gary provided me a quote with an itemized breakdown summarizing each part of the build, price was fair and the work carried out seems excellent. He kept within the agreed time frames, when any snags came up I was updated and advised of the steps to be taken. Would strongly recommend Twinfix and will be using them again for any future projects.

Gary has recently completed a partial garage conversion on my property. I was very impressed with Gary‘s communication skills and updates throughout the project. When the job went slightly off target Gary sent an email with an update on how the rest of the work would progress.Gary and his team are also very tidy, I always dread getting building work done for the the mess. However, the mess was minimal.I would definitely recommend Gary for any future building work.

Called Gary to get a quote for replacing a frame and door outside. Gave a very reasonable quote and got fitted in the next week to do the job. Gary was very professional amd contacted me to say when would be coming. When arrived got straight on with the job and done to a high standard. Very happy with the work and would recommend him. Would use Gary again in the future.

Gary and his team of subcontractors built our kitchen extension throughout the pandemic and we are so happy with the final result. Gary was great throughout, keeping us updated at all times and visiting site frequently, often at a time when I expected him to have his feet up relaxing! He takes a lot of pride in his work and this shows in the final result. We would defo use Gary again.

Garage Conversion- From the moment Gary responded to our enquiry we were so impressed by his positive attitude. Not only is the work he and his team did first rate, quality of products used and finish top notch. We were kept informed throughout and his reliability was 100% as were his team.This company are a glowing example of what should be the norm but is not. We would not hesitate to recommend Gary for quality, very competitive rates and first class customer service. Brilliant company and if we could give more than 5 stars we would.

Gary and his team did a fantastic job repositioning a loft hatch and ladder, and patching the old opening. Gary was really responsive, had excellent suggestions for how the work could best be carried out (for example, correcting for slightly-squint ceiling joists), and completed the work quickly, tidily, and on time.I will absolutely be asking Gary and Twinfix to do more work for me in the future.

We got Gary in to convert our garage into an office/craft space and I have to say that the work was outstanding! Even through lock down Gary kept us updated as to when materials were coming in and when he would be able to complete certain parts of the work. Gary was thorough and had great attention to detail and was quick to fix any issues that arose during the process. Overall we are extremely happy with the work Gary did and will definitely be getting him back to do further work in the future.

Sadly we had a bad experience with Gary. We believe Gary once was a good tradesperson considering previous back dated reviews but he seems to be taking on too much to manage.Firstly, the project (a small kitchen reno) took 3 months instead of 3 weeks. Gary came and went when he pleased, sometimes only coming a few hours a week.When we saw Gary at our house he would spend time bad mouthing other current customers about their expectations and attitude which from day 1 felt uncomfortable and unprofessional.The structural work we are happy with but the finish is poor. We have a hole in one of our solid laminate work tops and chips in our floor tiles. Gary fairly promised the 'magic man' would fix this or he would replace. Once we paid Gary, the 'magic man' disappeared after a half finished job so we will need to get another tradesperson in to fix his damages. We found out following the job that our keys were given to the 'magic man' who was holding them and accessed our property alone without our prior knowledge or consent.At the end of the project Gary added additional charges which previously he had put in writing would not be charged for. We questioned this and Gary got very irrate with bully type comments and threats - Gary told us he wouldn't give us our keys back when we asked for them making us feel unsafe in our home. Not paying was never insinuated by ourselves but we wanted to pay our agreed quote plus any additions we agreed to along the way.We did end up paying more as we just wanted to move on avoiding any further unpleasant/abusive messages. The pricing was not bad, just very unexpected.Once payment was made, we asked Gary to collect his sign from in front of our house. We received further unpleasant comments over text message such as 'stop this childish behaviour'.Gary told us this would be 'lessons learnt' for his business and we really hope he means that.What could have been a positive experience turned sour very quickly. A massive shame.We can't recommend Twinfix.
