North Dock
It preserves much of the old dock with an upmarket marina look. Food outlets and gift outlets provide the essentials and there are public toilets too.

Great friendly people with disabled access cafes and even a hairdresser. Learn to scuba dive and will soon also be offering watersports activities like sea kayaking. Can launch boats from here

By The Slope (a sheltered, sandy beach great for youngsters), dog-friendly cafes and The George Elmy lifeboat (involved in the Seaham Lifeboat Disaster).

Nice little dock area. Unfortunately the small fortification part had the steps up closed. But had a nice look around. At first when I saw The Lookout building in distance I thought the building was under renovation but when I got closer I saw it was the design. Maybe I'm the only one who find that building stunning ugly

I stumbled across this by accident after traveling on the train from Darlington to Middlesbrough and suddenly found my self needing fish and chips. As I had lots of spare time and it was a warm sunny day I got off the train at Seaham in the hope of said fish and chips. Which were I have to say amazing. And had a walk around as this was my first time in Seaham. And I ended spending 2 hours sat in the sun at North Dock and stuffing my face with pancakes and lots of coffee. What a wonderful relaxing place it is and with a lovely beach. Seaham is a hidden gem. If your reading this then stop reading this and go!!! If you don't it will be a massive mistake.
