Went to hand in a CV into this shop about looking for volunteering but haven't heard anything back. I hope to hear from this company soon 'cause i'm eager

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Always a variety of things to browse through and later purchase, unlike most similar stores who sell just mainly clothes. There's always something new and unexpected within the establishment every week. Would recommend to people who like collecting 'old things', obscure tech, and other forms of memorabilia.

Dark, dingy and strange. There are always odd characters flitting in and out.

For many years I was a happy customer of the store but with my latest purchase they destroyed all my trust in the shop-keepers working there. A few days back I found a couple of nice looking hi-fi speakers for a good price. I asked Paul (one of the cashiers) if I can return it for a refund if they are not working properly, he repeatedly said yes. Unfortunately few of the speakers in the set were faulty so I had to return them. Few days later another gentleman (Phil?) behind the till informed me they don't accept returns. After 20 minutes of argument he gave me a phone number, asked me to leave the speakers with him and offered me a chance for refund if their technician indeed finds them faulty. The phone number he gave me is not connected so I can't reach them. I live far so can't even pop in to get updates. I feel cheated, not once, but twice. They have my money and they have my speaker set too. Well played. Avoid this shop.
