Been to a few bakery’s around Nottingham, Derby for birthday cakes, Christmas etc. Pat a cake is by far the best. Lauren is brilliant and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this place.

Lovely addition to Spondon village, the cakes are to die for but you should taste their cookies!! Also did our beautiful wedding favours (personalised biscuits) everyone was asking for seconds!

Love this place! We tend to buy a box of 4 every couple of weeks - portion sizes are very generous and the cakes absolutely yummy. Their occasion boxes are great as gifts, this Father’s Day box went down very well!

Amazing little gem in Spondon village! Cake that is fresh and tasty, and a fantastic freshly ground coffee/ hot chocolate. Friendly and such a pretty cakery and studio. Support local!!

We chose “Pat a Cake” to do our wedding cake for our wedding reception this year back in June. Prior to our day we went to the shop for a tasting session to sample some of our favourite flavours, & to discuss our final design of the cake.We chose to go for 3 tier cake, with top tier being semi naked & the other two tiers being full buttercream. Our colour theme was sage/olive green. The flavours consisted; top tier - sticky ginger & rum, Middle tier - red velvet (being the special tier, vegan, gluten free, & non Dairy), & the Bottom tier - strawberry & raspberry ripple.The design/colours of the cake complimented our colour theme as instructed during the initial brief. All of our guests & of course ourselves enjoyed the taste of the cake! A big thank you to everyone at “Pat a Cake”, a job well done.

Love the cupcakes and other yummy treats from these guys. Plus most times I pop in I end up having a great bit of chat! We even got our Christmas cake from here safe in the knowledge that it would be scrummy! (Spoiler: it was!)If you’re passing by, do yourself a favour and grab a box of cakes! You won’t regret it!
