Charles and the team at A1K9 Limited have supplied Family Protecton Dogs to all of my clients. I spent most of a day at his training facility with my son, having the privilege of 'donning the suit'(being bitten) and dealing with my clients 'pets' I can attest to the excellent and attentive service that Charles and staff at A1 K9 Limited provide their customers. From the initial selection to delivery and the continued support provided.Nothing seems too much.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Seen these dogs in action few years ago, highly trained, wouldn't want to cross them but very passive unless called upon. Credit to the trainers

I first approached A1K9 in 2001 when I had issues with my Dobermann, after a chat with Charles, I decided to take the plunge (all the way from Scotland) and sent my boy to them for training. 4 weeks later my dog's obedience was spot on, first time every time. Whilst Max was with A1K9 he was trained in protection work, which was a huge comfort to me being a small female who walked alone a lot. Max was a superb pet and protector after his training until the day he passed away. Max not only saved me from an armed mugger, but also alerted me when my elderly neighbour had a fall.Charles and the team were always on hand to give help and advice, even when the problem was with friends dogs. This is what I call excellent customer service - well above and beyond.After the passing of Max, Charles recommended A1K9 Quinn.Charles's recommendation was spot on.Quinn is the most perfect dog for our family, equally happy to lie on the sofa, play with our 2 year old daughter or accompany us on Charity Walks. He is an awesome ambassador for A1K9, fortunately he has not been called upon to protect his family but I have no doubt he would.Quinn is so in tune with us as a family, he gives us signs he is not happy when certain people approach our daughter, he will very subtly position his body inbetween our daughter and the person he is not comfortable with being around his family.Will I return to A1K9 for our next dog......Yes without hesitationWould I recommend A1K9.......absolutely without a doubt.

We used to go to puppy classes there years ago. They were the best and thanks to them our 10 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback grew up into a well balanced friendly dog. Thank you

They were brilliant. Professional, courteous, well informed and accommodating. The deal didn't eventually happen but thay was due to my own circumstances. Can't fault them at all. Look fwd to getting a puppy from them in the near future.

I attended the third session of junior training (my puppy is 7 months) and I'm not going back. The main trainer seems to enjoy telling off dog owners in front of the class - that's not what I paid for. She was very impatient and sharp with me and seemed to expect me to get her methods straight away but I'm not experienced and she's not a good teacher. My dog is a very quick learner and hasn't learnt anything new as my daughter was training her before. I also saw this same trainer hit one dog and she teaches 'stay' by pulling on the lead and 'down' by pushing the dog which doesn't work with my puppy and seems unnecessarily heavy handed. I would find a different trainer or just use YouTube and save some money.

Went to have our new puppy registered and checked. Lovely staff and the vet even let my 3 grandaughters listen to his heart with her stethoscope.

Absolutely excellent experience working with gaynor to reduce our French bulldogs poor behaviour around our new baby. 100% would reccomend to anyone and we will be back again in the future for more training

Went there for a 1 on 1 with our rescue dog. Also went there 12 yrs ago with a puppy. Great place, great people who know about dogs

Amazing I cannot rate them enough they are all so lovely the dogs are kept amazing cannot wait for envy to start her training
