Red Lion Holiday Park

Stayed in the touring pitches last week. Well kept site, clean shower blocks. The swimming was good all though a tad expensive at £14.50 a family session. The bar etc was all good and Julie was very nice in the bar. She was very helpful throughout our stay and a good laugh.

Love this park and love love Arbroath lovely beach, great park for kids and a skate park too if you dare. An amusement arcade which isn't particularly big so might save you a few pennies...been going to the red lion park every year for the last 9 years !!

Had another great stay here this weekend. Sun was out, great entertainment and a fab night in the club house.

Really enjoy spending time in Arbroath and always have a great time while we're here. The one gripe we have with the park is that they do not have free WiFi. It really puts a dampener on things especially when the weather is bad and you can't play games on the console, watch catch up TV Or surf the net. Its very expensive to buy a WiFi pass; something which should definitely be included in the big site fees the Red Lion charge!I hope that this is something the Red Lion will remedy. Im sure they'll get a good bit more business with the lure of free WiFi.**update** they have added a new children's playback right next to the leisure centre. You get to it by going up the steps to the left. Its got wooden play equipment with swings, chutes and climbing frames. It has a holiday club for kids with mascot.

We've stayed here in our tourer annually on more than one occasion. Usually for 5 nights but only three nights this time. Nothing changes ever, as far as the touring park is concerned. The trains don't bother us. Neither does the road traffic. The hospital is nearby so there are sirens daily but they're not bothersome. Lovely walk into Arbroath along the seafront.

Walking distance to the beach plenty for kids to do pet friendly

Swimming - lockers don't work, hairdriers not accepting tokens. Staff more interested in eating lunch than providing customer service. £14.50 for 1 adult & 2 kids.Bar - No draught juices. Guinness it's not very cold"Poor choice of drinks.Pool tables (2) 50p per game - "we've no change

Came here with our touring caravan.It was £39 pn. The touring area is just a grassy field, poorly maintained.Water taps and waste grates were dirty and had other people's rubbish in. Pitches marked by a slab sunk into the grass so not visible unless you got out of your vehicle.To cap it all you have to pay extra for a shower and get a token from reception! When asked how much time I had with the token the reception staff didn't know!If you're thinking of bringing a tourer here, don't bother!Will not be coming here again!

Right across the road from large park the sea, cinema ,jumping joey,s and arcade great for kids even the big ones

Stayed for three nights in the touring pitches, run down pitches, all grass which is uneven, drains not well maintained. Toilet blocks clean despite flooding showers due to blocked drains, they charge you 50p for a token for the shower which you don’t need as the water runs warm anyway, considering the price you pay to stay I find this dishonest. Bin area is disgusting over flowing which the seagulls enjoy!Bar and pool ok. It’s a ideal location for things for kids but site is definitely more focused on statics.
