EYES on St Albans

Great experience from start to finish!Began with a very thorough eye test with everything explained to me, could see the difference between my previous prescription and what was now required. Jez picked out frames that suited my face shape including one I wouldn't have picked myself, these were really comfortable and were my end choice. At no time did I feel rushed to make a decision but with Jezs help I feel I've made the best choice for eye wear in the past 5 years. Will be using Eyes on St Albans again in the future.

I sent my glasses for new lenses. Takes less than one week and they were ready yesterday and today I got them. Probably the best shop in all UK. The owner Jaz takes care of all clients. Amazing job.

Fantastic and friendly service, after trying several optical practice’s, Eyes On St Albans are by far the best. I have referred several friends and family, all have been very happy and impressed with the amazing selection of glasses, not seen any like it.The OCT retina scan was a great peace of mind for myself and partner. Can highly recommend with ease.

There are opticians and then there is Eyes on St Albans. From start to finish the service and care was faultless. A thorough and informative eye exam, superb, knowledgable guidance selecting frames and just a great place to hang out in. As a full time glasses wearer and desperately in need of some advice and forward thinking about cooler glasses, I broke with tradition of sticking with my usual optician and took a good friends advice to visit Jez. I have had an amazing experience, great advice, and feel more rejuvenated in my daily wearing of glasses. The eye test was also very very thorough. Whilst some of the styles are a little too crazy for daily use (believe me I would if I had endless pots of cash!) Jez didn't over sell or push styles that I wasn't comfortable with. he understood the restrictions, eg something to be worn everyday, and to go with everything, whilst looking cool! There is a really warm welcome in store, and I've got to say, if there had been a little cafe there, I may well have spent a couple of hours in the showroom just chatting! The environment is great. Such a great find, in a small corner of St Albans, with styles that challenge the high street brands. I highly recommend a visit, and I know I will be back for another pair soon. Thanks Jez

Came here for new glasses, having read the rave 5-star reviews, and wasn’t disappointed; in fact my expectations were exceeded!Jez, the owner, is passionate about his work and can ‘read’ what his customers want. Amazing selection of cool frames and great advice & service. Can’t wait to get my new glasses!The shop itself is beautifully appointed and very cool. If you’re looking for ‘statement’ glasses or just want great service, then you must come here.

Visited to investigate colour deficiency glasses- received the most wonderful service! Was given the chance to take a test to allocate the correct glasses. Was given lots of options of types of glasses, whether we wanted frames from the store or to provide our own glasses, etc. After we were given a chance to access the community with the glasses to put them to the test which was empowering. Was given lots of patience while deciding. Was super friendly and very helpful

Was after a glasses case a friend of mine had bought from Jez. Unfortunately Jez had run out of these but he gave me his own case free of charge.
