This was by far the best place we've self catered at, we loved everything about the cottage and farm, especially feeding the animals every morning.Keith and Lisa were super hosts and you won't get bored with Keith's farming tales. We'll definitely be back

This was the most beautiful and picturesque cottage I have ever stayed in. My son treated me to a 3 night stay for my 50th birthday and it was just perfect. Due to current restrictions, the kitchen implements were reduced but still adequate. The farm is located in a wonderful setting and not too far away from a town with a supermarket for supplies. The neighbouring residents were all so friendly and also seemed very happy with the accommodation and the views. A definite 5* rating from me!

Having visited one of the cottages previously, I contacted their manager on his personal mobile number and spoke with him on what my requirements are. He asked ages of my children and how many in total, all was confirmed with him right then and he sought a cottage he thought was suitable for my 9 and 11 years old children (as he described over the telephone of the bedrooms for the sought cottage, our booking was arranged and paid for.Getting there a day later than arranged, my children and I were astounded by the size of the accommodation; not by the family size of the cottage as we anticipated but by the miniscule size of it. Clearly this is a couple sized cottage as we found out. So I contacted the manager but his response was that I had made the mistske myself during the booking and that he has no vacant cottage to offer and to add salt to injury, he suggested that one of my children could sleep on the awful not fit for use cot squashed against the double bed in a room overly furnished with children's sized wardrobe. Mind you the said cot was also wedged against the radiator, called these flaws to his attention and also mentioning that both boys are too big for the cot considering their ages and kilogram in weight and what about when we decide to turn on the heating as this is clearly a health and safety issue; he immediately retorted that he had had a couple with a child slept in the cottage and they were fine. This may have worked for them if they had travelled with a toddler but no match to hold my foot when I'd tested the depth of the mattress on the said cot, oh there's a pull out sofa bed in the living room anyone of us could use, listening to such poor pathetic excuses I didconnected his call as we had travelled 8 hours and the last thing we needed was to start searching for an accommodation in Looe and not knowing many places too.The induction hob installed at the property has no instructions of how to use it, my children and I gave up on the idea of wanting hot meals at the cottage. Our stay at this cottage was horrendous, not only were we sardined in, we were consistently being awoken by trotting horses and yapping dog on site as exactly 6:45am and 7am at the latest.Came the last day of our stay, his cleaner arrived knocking persistently on doors and windows asking that we vacate the cottage as she's spoken to her boss and he's instructed her to have the cottage readied for their next tenant. Yes we should've left the cottage at 10am, considering the lack of sleep and miniscule space and sharing the double bed with my two children and unable to move swiftly in tight space at 11am calls and door knocking took hold of our last minutes at the cottage; both the manager and his cleaner were persistent. As return customers, we were appalled by this act of bullying behaviour and downright arrogant and terrible customer experience.I will not be returning nor will I be recommending them to my friends and family. It was my children's last week before they resumed school after a 3 week Easter holiday and it was my son's 9th birthday but this awful experience overshadowed what would've been a memorable experience.Never again.

We have just got back from our stay at Polean Farm - we loved it. Our little boy of 20 months loved his stay and playing on the farm at the play area and feeding the animals in the mornings. Lovely hosts and beautiful views. Will come back again!

We stayed here for a week in July 2018. My 7 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the mornings petting and feeding the animals, collecting the eggs, the pony rides and the tractor rides. We stayed in a small cottage which was perfect for our family of four. Cosy, clean and homely.Would definately return!!

We've been going to Polean for several years now and it's always a fantastic time. We've stayed in all the cottages and have always found them to be clean, comfortable and well equipped. Feeding the animals, barrel and pony rides are always looked forward to. would always recommend to anyone with kids.

In these strange times we'd already had one holiday cancelled earlier in the year due to lockdown, so it was lovely to get away from it all when restrictions eased and spend a week in Cornwall and stay at Polean Farm. The cottages are as clean and sanitised as you could realistically expect - changes have been made to keep people as safe as possible, and there are lots of nice touches such as the welcome hamper with cream teas and apple drink. The owners obviously love entertaining and there is loads for kids to do, whether it's helping look after the guinea pigs, chickens and goats or rising on the toy tractors, real tractor ride or horses. We had a great time, felt safe for to the sensible precautions and the weather was lovely!

Lovely quiet place to stay. Our 16 month old loved the guinea pigs and Shetland pony, as well as the games room. Very easy to drive into Looe for great fish and chips and the beach. Accommodation was comfortable and had all essentials. Thank you for a wonderful stay. (We stayed in Twinkles).
