The Longford Inn Beefeater
Great value meals especially if you are the circulation emails for their discount scheme. Had two courses for two and bottle of wine for 35 pounds. The prawn cocktail I had was lovely and the mixed grill was really good. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. In the photo I have already eaten onion rings, large grilled mushroom, most of the steak and half of the chicken so you do get a lot of food on your plate

Went as a party of 4 for Sunday lunch, 2 of us had the Sunday roast and unfortunately it was not the best, the roast potatoes were dire, crispy outside far too hard, also both of us had just a ball of crunch without any potato inside, the stuffing was was that hard it broke up into pieces when sticking fork into it and the peas were stale. The meat was beautiful though as usual and service good even though they were short staffed and busy. We've been lots of times and the grill meals are excellent but wouldn't recommend a Sunday roast.

Wasn't too busy but had to wait a while to be seated. After that the service was pretty good. Couple of things run out from the menu, but I guess that's because they popular and run out after a Saturday night. Pleasant experience. Lots if offers for rewards if you sign up, like 50% off on sign up, but it's a bit miss leading because you don't get a voucher for like 2 days later.

The outside of the building is starting to look very tatty with rotten windows, however inside is clean & modern.I opted for the mixed grill from the main menu & paid the extra £4.50 to upgrade to the 8oz Sirlion steak, go big or go home & worth every penny.It's also worth going for the Unlimited soda option if your planning to have more than one drink.There's also a lunchtime menu, which is great value & worth a look at, with 2 or 3 course options.The meats where all cooked to perfection, however some of the thick cut chips didn't seem quite cooked all the way through.I add a Burnaise sauce to the order, which was very nice & twice the portion size I received at the other Beefeater at Gloucester Docks last week.Plenty of parking available when I arrived, but the Premier Inn share the same car park so might get a bit tight for a space later in the day.Overall a good experience, but as mentioned needs attention to the rotting window frames which look terrible.

This place needs some LOVE inside and out first off the staff are all over the place kids running around and staff telling food is going to be 45/1hr wait. We ordered two sharing plates what just tasted dry and tasteless the best thing on the plate was the calamari. After we order our food came within 20 minutes what was brilliant but unfortunately the food was terrible and tasteless also this cost £13.99 what’s very pricey for the shocking food supplied. Just seems the staff don’t care on how the place looks or operates. Big shame.

Staff were ok despite taking my plate away before i had finished eating. Blinds have a layer of dust on them.Entrance could do with a good clean. Door could do with a clean. That would make it more welcoming. Been there lots of times but this visit was disappointing.

Unfortunately poor rating due to rudeness of bar staff. Appreciate stressful if under staffed but polite acknowledgement goes a long way. I have worked in pubs myself back when they got really busy- 6 deep at the bar on a Saturday night. A few customers shouldn't be a problem and we should not feel like an inconvenience!! Food was nice, and restaurant staff attentive. Sorry to say a poor welcoming experience and not the first with the same individual can influence the mood.

The Longford Inn Beefeater
Been coming to the Longford for a while but the last 2 visits haven't been the greatest. The staff work hard to ensure it's all stocked up constantly which is great however the management (well the woman we presume is the manager) needs to learn some customer service. One visit we said how the apple juice was very watery and she replied no it's not
