All Things Bonsai

Fabulous bonsai nursery situated just south of Meadowhall shopping centre on the M1. This is a great little gem of a bonsai nursery.You enter through a door in the far corner of the carpark/yard (at the far end of the main garden centre building) into a narrow outside courtyard with a range of fabulous trees on benches running along either side. At the opposite end is door into a similar indoor/greenhouse/workshop with as many trees again and massive range of pots, tools and equipment.There are evergreen, deciduous and exotic trees of varying stages of development and to suit every budget - the owners (Adam and Jude?) were friendly, chatty and knowledgeable and provided care sheets for the trees I have bought (a white pine, a pomegranate and a dawn redwood).I could easily spend an hour browsing, marvelling at, and admiring the trees here, and I fully expect to make many repeat visits particularly for new pots for my own growing collection.There is also a very nice, well organised website, though it only has a fraction of their stock on there so if you can visit in person I would suggest you do.I cannot heap enough praise on these guys and will do all I can to support their fabulous little business.

Nice little bonsai nursery, visited recently owners friendly and talkative good variety of trees and sundries. Came away with 3 trees, pots and wire, and they were happy to let me take my dog around very good prices would visit again and recommend to others. Very knowledgeable people.

I don't know what I was expecting really but this place is an absolute hidden gem. The guys who work here were so friendly and helpful and so willing to share their knowledge.

This place has become my go to place to buy bonsai trees / bonsai material in the last few months. Great communication from Adam and the team on every purchase, items arrive promptly and well packed. In addition to this I think their trees are well priced, clearly with a hobby such as bonsai you only get what you pay for but I think there trees offer great value for money. It’s just a shame for me that I live so far away and can’t visit this nursery in person!

Purchased my 1st Yew from All Things Bonsai, initially I gave Adam a call to get more information about the tree and was reassured with all the information needed to keep it alive lol. As I live in London Adam helped me get this delivered fast and safely all the way to me with no issues.A+++ Great quality trees and products and super friendly staff. Will definitely be buying more soon.

First time ordering online from All Things Bonsai, will definitely not be the last time. Adam was very helpful throughout the entire ordering process, received my Kotohime Japanese Maple today, was packaged very well & even came with a little care sheet which isn't uncommon but had included extra details on when to repot next & a few additional details for my new tree. All Things Bonsai is a retailer I would have no hesitation buying from again or recommending.

OMG what an amazing selection of bonsai. You definitely need deep pockets, but these are not your local garden centre bonsai and anyone who grows bonsai knows the care and attention that goes into growing one and the time it takes. A bonsai tree 12 inches tall could be 10-15 years old, keep that in mind when looking at the prices. There are some absolutely AMAZING specimens here and it saddens me that my pockets aren't that deep, but I very much appreciate why they cost so much. Very helpful and full of advice too with a great selection of bonsai tools and wires at reasonable prices. Best selection of bonsai I've seen yet, keep up the great works lads.

Went there for a present knowing very little about bonsai. The staff were very helpful and informative, with a great advise and good range of products.
