Gaucho Charlotte Street
Wonderful experience and service. We had somewhat omakase station with champagne for a start. The dishes served were delicious and worth the experience. The chef was also a very good conversationalist and we enjoyed the company.

It was a great evening thanks to the wonderful service and the amazing quality of the food.We ordered the beef filet and ribeye for our date. We also tried the wagyu beef thanks to Thomas.All the food was very high quality and the taste was simply put stunning.Thank you to all the staff for such a wonderful evening. Special thanks to Thomas - the boss, for an interesting story about Argentina, beef, wine and the recommendation of dishes that turned out to be perfect for the two of us. This was the night to remember.

Lovely restaurant classy but relaxed with a touch of sophistication. The combination of light browns and ochre natural materials on the walls and dark ceiling is very accomplished. Dark green velvety chairs are very comfortable. There are also bar areas where you could have a drink while they're getting your table ready.We had the steak tartare as starter and sirloin as a main. All good quality as expected, well cooked and presented. The gaucho dessert a fiiting end to a good meal.It was unusally busy for a Thursday night we were told, and perhaps a tad loud. The staff were very helpful and friendly though, considering they were understaffed on the night, which clearly showed on the waiting times between dishes. However, they were very professional and overall saved the night.

Me and my husband celebrated our wedding anniversary in the Beef bar and it was AWESOME! Chef Domingo was incredible, he knows his stuff, he's friendly, he made us feel at home and surprised us !Also Matilda was really nice and attentive.Meat was the best and all the staff as well!Oh and their cocktails are great too!Definitely will come back with my friends and family!

Brilliant staff. Sofia was amazing. The steak was the best I'd ever had. It melted in the mouth. And the cheesecake wasn't too shabby either. Will definitely be going back next time we're in the area.

I have celebrated my birthday last week there!Best night out ever!Thank you Gaucho and thank you Robert, the best waiter!! He was so polite and professional!!They surprised me with a dessert and sang happy birthday day to me!I definitely recommend Robert and Gaucho in Charlotte Street!

The food was great, the service was top notch. And the atmosphere was nice, calm and cozy. Loved it! Not a lot of non-alcoholic drink options on the menu Incase this is important for someone else, but the staff were very helpful in navigating this!

Gaucho Charlotte Street offers two large, moody, well appointed levels, accomodating seventy to eighty people. The service is outstanding. Not only friendly and welcoming but efficient and on the ball. Unfortunately, the two 400 gram cuts of chorizo where a dissapointment. The meat was chewy and bland. Even the chimichuri sauce that normally has a full flavour zing to it tasted watered down. Maybe just a bad day for the chef. However not good value considering the average cost for 400 grams of meat at Gauchos is between £40 to £48.Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, an important figure in Argentine history, explained through one of his books the four types of gauchos: the gaucho singer, the baqueano gaucho, the bad gaucho and the tracker gaucho. In this ocassion, Gaucho Charlotte Street did not live to its Argentinian heritage.
