Gorgeous birthday meal for my hubby. Creamy mushroom starter gorgeous & roast was best he'd ever had. The stick toffee pudding was sublime. The only issue for us was we were seated downstairs & dogs are allowed & there were alot! We have 3 dogs & can't understand why you'd want to bring them out with you for a formal meal. So our advice is ask for a table upstairs.

The food was amazing, as was the service. Warm welcome. Very dog friendly. Book so you're not disappointed. Plenty of parking at the rear. We'll definitely be back.

Have wanted to come here for a long time and heard good things, I was not disappointed!! The food was absolutely delicious, service was friendly, attentive and quick! We had a lovely time and even catered for intolerances within our party beautifully!

Excellent service and food. We came here for our Wedding Anniversary and were really pleased we did. I had driven past it many times and seen good things about it on Facebook so thought it would be good to try it. The Staff were really friendly and helpful. It was lovely in terms of decor and the atmosphere. The toilets were extremely well presented and there was ample parking to the rear.

Oh. My. Word! My brother and his wife told us about this place, so we decided to take them there for a nice dinner. I cannot say enough about how amazing this meal was! First of all, on Monday nights, they have a deal where you can get a main course plus a starter for 19 GBP, or 23 GBP for a starter, main course and dessert. It's a tiny bit more limited than the main menu, but not much. Even without that, the prices are great (I think the most expensive item I saw was about 24 GBP). We got the soup of the day (leek and potato with a hunk of crusty bread) and it was delicious. We also got the mushroom and garlic cream over toast and YUM! We got a burger, a lamb burger, fish and chips, and the braised beef stew. Plus, they do special orders for people with specific dietary needs. My sister-in-law has celiacs disease, and they made a beautiful meal for her. We had a red velvet brownie with white chocolate ice cream, and a delicious key lime cheesecake for dessert, as well as a few affogatto's (sp?). The service was wonderful, the restaurant was beautiful, and so was the surrounding area. We are here on vacation from America, but when we get this way again, we will DEFINITELY be eating here again. Thank you for a fabulous meal and a fabulous experience.

Had Sunday Lunch, special was Sea Bream and was inedible so sent it back. Sunday roasts were supremely average, served lukewarm and gravy was the consistency of wallpaper paste. Used to be a very good restaurant but has really gone downhill in the last year or so. Service was very good, otherwise would’ve been a 1 star rating. Second try of attending for Sunday lunch, will not be returning.

What a treat this place is! Nestled away in the heart of Sutton Cheney, tastefully decorated, superb menu with great variety. Top class service, the food & deserts were gorgeous! Will absolutely be back, and would without a doubt recommend this place. By far my favourite spot for miles!

Have been meaning to come here for a couple of years whilst I am in the area for work. All I can is wow, what a refreshing experiance. The service, selection of drinks was great. The food.... wow, can't say I've enjoyed a meal as much as that in along time. Cooked to perfection and great value for what you get.

It was our first time at Hercules Revived. It was our sons birthday and we'd heard such good reviews that we decided to take him there for a family meal. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and the staff were helpful and cheerful. The food and service was excellent and we are definitely going to return soon. I would highly recommend a visit.
