My shower stopped working so I contacted Elite Group.They came and said it couldn't be fixed and we're going to change me nearly 400 pounds for a replacement plus labour.I found out the shower was still under guarantee and the company, Aqualisa, sent a plumber.The shower was fixed within half an hour, no problems.It wasn't a fancy shower either, just one that sits over the bath.I'm afraid I am left with the feeling I was about to be ripped off.

What can i say,, started work on my property oct 22,now nearly in September 23 n still waiting for them to finish work,, ioin the time they been at my property they have left me without toilet n upstairs sink 2.5weeks,drill through electrical cables, n left just chockbloocked up, damaged fencing, walls, pathways, been lied toby office staff n project manager, had my number blocked by office, i wouldnt recommend this group of faulty so called professionals, if you can call them that, im still battling elite to get my house finished as they got paid through the eco4 grants back in December 22 as they some how claimed my house was complete so not only lieing to customers but to government aswell,,,, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IS MY ADVICE TO ALL READING THIS REVIEW

Deliver of a sparkling new cooker should be a joyful experience but the installation company refused to install the new cooker despite us having sockets moved. The good news was after calling Robert Shaw Plumbing & Heating and explaining the situation, reassured my very upset wife that an engineer would be on-site shortly and would do whatever was necessary to get our sparkling new dual-fuel range cooker installed, ready to cook this evenings tea for the family. Andy the engineer arrived promptly and reassured my wife that he would get the cooker installed. Andy confirmed that there was no problem with the location, despite the installation team refusing to install. Andy was polite, professional and through engaging, conversations managed to calm my wife down. We can not thank the team at Robert Shaw Plumbing & Heating enough! Outstanding customer service. So if we ever need a Plumbing or Heating guy, these awesome folks are a perfect choice!

I have recently had a bathroom fitted by this company. They were very professional and the Project Manager Sean Maitchell finished the work to an extremely high standard. Despite some setbacks due to circumstances beyond his control, he was determined to finish the job properly. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family.

Had cavity wall insulation removed and refilled along with new boiler installed. Work was carried out as arranged, the staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job. Would recommend.

Came out to assess the job. It was good to go. When they came out, they made every excuse under the sun to not do it. Maybe they need more qualified surveyors.

Called them out to carry out repairs which I had described to office staff. The engineer told me that a nut connection under the boiler was corroded and I therefore asked if he would replace it. He said he didn’t have any on the van. He was also unable to fix a leaking heating pipe because he didn’t have the right size copper pipe on the van.This was the second time I had taken time off work because they cancelled the first appointment (due to engineer having covid )at very short notice and had nobody else to send out in his place. The next appointment was nearly a week later. It was too late to cancel my leave and so I had to take two half days off work.I had thought that a large company would have had well-equipped vans. He did eventually loosen and tighten the ‘corroded’ ( or, suddenly not corroded?) nut, which was leaking as a result of this company’s own installation a few months ago. However, I was so unimpressed by the unprofessional way the company seems to operate, I told him not to bother coming back to do the pipe. I am now also concerned that the nut below the boiler that had been leaking for goodness knows how long, due to their poor installation, did actually need replacing and that I may have to pay someone else to do that in the future.Very surprised by all the 5 star reviews. A shambles.

We've been asked by Robert Shaw to leave a review of their services, which is surprising as we'd made them aware of our dissatisfaction in the following areas, which may be useful for others when choosing who to use:- We were charged ~2 hours labour for just providing a quotation (of fitting a new gas pipe) without being advised it would be chargeable until afterwards. Later refunded this.- The quotation turned out to actually be an estimate which was a significant underestimate, despite there being no surprises at all to the work estimated for. I had even pulled up all carpets and cut & lifted floorboards which was originally within the estimate. It won our business but not ethically.- The plumber received several calls per hour from the office for updates and regarding other jobs, which significantly delayed the work and so increased the cost to us.- On completion of the work I was given a price which sounded high for the duration, so I asked how it was calculated, which was reluctantly provided. It turns out that they'd charged for the lunch break and double charged for a hot water tank service through both a fixed price and duration on site. Once I pointed this out they corrected the price by reducing by over £100.- The Engineer was superb, excellent work and materials exactly as expected.- We would not use Robert Shaw plumbing again.
