I have nothing but praise and admiration for these people .After a recent week long visit to ngh , with a suspected heart attack . Right from A&E , CDU , on to resus ward , then chesterman 2 . Then into the lab for a stent fitting . ALL The staff here were all so caring and very proffesional & I can't thank them all enough .So Thank you all , for looking after me .Glynn

I'm here for surgery. Hospital is clean and as per usual the staff are fantastic. Just a shame a percentage of the patience aren't of the same demeanor. One thing that aggregates me more than anything is the hospital not adhereing to it's no smoking policy. This goes for all the hospitals I have visited. Best thing is to set aside an area for patience to smoke away from the main entrances so others can actually enjoy a breath of fresh air if they are able.

Superb service if somewhat stretched at times, staff are friendly, competent and approachable, and facilities are increasingly being modernised and upgraded. The only bug is parking space, nowhere near as bad as the Hallamshire, it can still present a problem for those in ill health and their carers, not to mention ancillary staffs access on a daily basis.

Excellent staff and fantastic hospital who recently looked after my wife. I have one complaint and that is parking. I came to visit and it took me over an hour to find a parking spot.
