Bristol Taxis

We booked a taxi to take us to temple meads station to catch a bus to the airport that we had pre paid for at £22. The taxi didn't arrive or phone, I phoned them and they came up with several lame excuses and basically a taxi wasn't going to turn up in time. We suggested to get to the airport on time they should drive us there, since it was there error. They said because it wasn't pre booked for 24 hrs we would have to pay.We had to drive to the airport where we incurred a bill of £60 for parking. I would not recommend this taxi company to anyone, we ended up paying out an extra £82 and a lot of stress for our holiday.

I am a young female and always get Bristol Taxis. Some people are wary of getting taxis on their own late at night but I have found Bristol taxis to be safe, friendly and welcoming. All of the drivers I have had are punctual, efficient and seem like lovely people. I would happily recommend them to family and friends.

Awful & rude!I booked on Sunday for my mother to be taken to Temple Meads train station for 9am on Monday. The taxi couldn't find my flat so parked down the road and expected us to walk to him. After persuading him to come to us he wouldn't let me put my mother's luggage in the boot and told us off for not going to him! When he dropped my mother at the station he didn't take her to the front and instead dropped her somewhere behind the station so she had to walk over a bridge and didn't get out to help her with her bags. My mother is 70 and has mobility problems and I am very upset that the driver was so rude and discourteous!To top it off, we were told it would cost £8 and then my mother was charged £9.

Life saver when I was in Bristol for a festival. Found this by walking down a road and spoke to the kind and good humoured lady manning the office who sorted me with a taxi driver promptly. The driver was really likeable and also expertly navigated the traffic congestion in the area by taking a strategic route, enabling me to get in the line for the festival before it was too packed. Used them the following day and same excellent service. Reasonably priced too which I didn't expect for a taxi firm in an otherwise expensive city. Call them if you're in Bristol.

PLEASE AVOID BY ALL MEANS!! Worst customer service ever!. Incompetent staff. Ghost bookings and No show!. Please avoid! I called the Bristol taxi 24 hours early to book a 5-7 minutes school run at 8.30am. The kids neded to be at school at 8:50am. During booking, the taxi agent was not focused on the call and constantly kept talking to someone else. When he eventually booked the journey l requested an estimate and he said err... £14. I told him we normally pay between £6 and £8 for taxi for the same journey. He became infuriated but eventually said ok he will take £7.Next day at 8.30am no show! l waited with the kids. No taxi. I called at 8:35am to check and l was asked where do l want to go to. I responded and added that l already booked the taxi yesterday. I was told the taxi is on its way. I asked to know approximately how long and the guy just shouted saying l have told you the taxi is on its way!! And with that be banged the phone on me. At 8.52 no sign of a taxi. I called again a few minutes later to ask if the taxi is still on its way. The guy ignored my question and just started reading what seemed like a telephone number. I interrupted to ask that is the direct telephone number of the taxi driver. It could not have been as the number he read was more like a landline starting with 0117... They guy just shouted at me saying no taxi

It arrived late, which from looking at other reviews seems to be standard for them. I had booked a taxi for my mum. I was quoted £28 having established specific addresses but they tried to charge her £35. I rang them up to query this but I wasn't left feeling confident that they cared. Would avoid.

Bristol Taxis is a great service for anyone wanting reliable airport transfers or local pick-ups. The driver was in contacted with me prior to my ride assuring me he would be on time and texted me when my car was outside; he was friendly, welcoming and professional and the ride was clean, safe. and comfortable. Ideal for anyone looking for good value experience; Highly recommended !!!!!!! :)

DO NOT use this company. They arrived 30 minutes late to take me to the train station-When I phoned to check where the taxi was I was told it would be 15 minutes: 10 minutes after the stated collection time. I queried this and this was then quickly changed to 5 minutes. The taxi arrived 20 minutes after this, supposedly due to heavy traffic. When I asked the driver he reported that he had been on another job scheduled for the same time and the roads were clear. Luckily I had been extra cautious in leaving a lot of time between my train and eurostar connections. If not, I would have missed my holiday. Please use another firm if you are want an honest and reliable service, and don't want to be fobbed off with lies.

First time a taxi driver take £10 from my hand without saying how much it is... Just Thanks mate".I pay for my own expenses so it is not company money.After today I'd say it is the last time.Some of your drivers are gentle and professional but others

Absolute pile of poo. Booked taxi and was told they would honour the journey home, all i had to do was call 15 minutes before i wanted picking up. Called them to get the taxi home, told it would be 30 mins, no problem. 45 minutes later called back to find out how much longer they would be to be told they didnt have a taxi for me and they would have to call another company for me. Well if i left it to them id still be waiting 8 hours later. AVOUD AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!! Poop poop poop
