Hotel is very nice, however the single glazed windows let in soooooo much sound. Also took so long to check in.Breakfast was cold.Room was really nice though.

We stayed here for 6 nights and slept wonderfully. The room was big enough for two adults and luggage. We didn't have any noise from the rooms next to us. The bathroom was clean, the shower head powerful enough.Breakfast was great (you had a lot of choices - typical English breakfast, all types of coffee, tea, toast, all kinds of condiments, fruit, vegetables, charcuterie,...) and the staff was very friendly. Room service was lovely - very efficient and their work was great. The hotel is near St Pancras and in walking distance of Russel Square Underground Station, which makes it perfect for discovering the city.Only one downside for us - the lifts were a bit unreliable. There are four lifts available, but by the end of our stay, two were out of service. Plus side, the hotel called for reinforcements very quickly and the issues were resolved as far as we know.Would stay again.

Don't stay here.I showed up after 4pm, no rooms were available and I had to come back later.I received multiple emails to download their hotel app Sheckel for easy check-up. The app is garbage, placed a hold on my credit card for the entire stay's charge, even though my stay was prepaid. The manager came out to speak with me and said the app wasn't their responsibility because it's a third party. Don't contract with third party apps then if you can't take responsibility for their services.Slow, lazy service. How are rooms still unavailable after 4?

Service is okay and location is good but would not book again due to the lack of sound control between the rooms. The door between rooms are paper thin and I can hear everything that goes on in my neighbor’s room (snoring, showering, alarms going off, talking, etc). Don’t come here for more than one night and don’t expect the best sleep unless your neighbor is as quiet as a mouse. I should really be asking for a partial refund since I left here even more tired than I came.

City Sleeper does NOT have air conditioning. This is just as described—a place you only want to have to be when sleeping. This hotel is by Royal National hotel, and since it does not have air conditioning it is closed off from the other side of the hotel. They have a small fan in the room but that doesn’t help with the heat. We visited at the end of June and didn’t know this place didn’t have air conditioning when booking. Also the shower head came off when I was trying to adjust it, the towel had a hole and bandaid left on it, the bed was hard, the windows barely cracked open. At night while you have the window open, you hear a lot outside throughout the night. It was about $320 for the night and I wish I would’ve just stayed farther away and taken the tube in to the area.

I had a good time during my 10 day trip, this place is perfectly located if you want to visit London. It's also affordable, which is not the case for most hotels in this part of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. No luxury here, the room was very small. But again, the hotels in central London are just CRAZY expensive and this is good quality in this context. However, I would not advise it in the summer as they don't have AC. Also, I got lucky with a room on the 7th floor with a nice view. Some of the rooms on lower floors facing the street must be noisy.

Stayed 5 nights.Location 5/5Air condition 0/5. There is no air condition. Only small fan. Room temperatures were between 25-30 degree celsius. Extremely hard and sweaty to sleep.Shampoos and other products screwed to walls and windows open only little bit and cannot fully move curtains. I understand it is for safety but still.Location was extremely good and staff were polite and always smiling. 5/5 for those. Breakfast also good but not much greens 4/5.If you dont mind the heat come here, otherwise just pay extra couple hundred more for more cooler hotel.

Rooms are incredibly hot in the summer. I bought a thermometer and it read 26 degrees Celsius in the room. No Air conditioning. Avoid west facing rooms. Window opens but not nearly enough. They put us in the wrong type of rooms and then refused to switch us and wouldn’t confirm we would be able to switch rooms for the rest of our stay. Staff harassed us when asking for an extra fan for our unacceptably warm room. The ONLY positives are location and oversized vehicle parking. Climate change is real. This hotel should charge must less if they refuse to add air conditioning. Why do I need top sheets when it’s this warm? I slept on top of everything. Never again.

Disappointingly poor service and experience. Rooms are stiflingly hot over summer with no climate controls despite the price of an overnight stay. Location is ok and rooms fairly quiet. That said, the service experienced was close to appalling. Firstly, the attitude on check in was nothing short of pure hostility and dismissiveness. This was seconded by the housekeeping team ignoring ‘do not disturb’ signs on room door, to ‘make up the room’ only to remove all bar one hand towel. When reporting this to reception and asking for contact details of the complaints manager, this information was refused. The issue with towels was met with disbelief - I know, trust me, that it’s hard to fathom and I was the guest!!!And as for breakfast, if you stay here, do yourself a favour and avoid it. The queue for the sole drinks machine isn’t worth it. The pastries were close to stale and hard enough as to be bordering on inedible. Barely worth the effort of the queue to get a table.Never again. Which is a pity as convenient.
