The kirk o shotts is one of my favourite places to go . Ull see the odd ghost hunter up there trying to see the boy in the grey suit run past in the graveyard there isn't much in the way of parking but u can park right next to it so it's not a far walk .

Well kept resting place of my paternal grandfather. Tranquil setting on the hillside, just off the M8. Both the church and graveyard are very atmospheric.

Great place to visit, graveyard is spread out and some headstones date back to the covenanted. From here go along outside Wass to Kates Well and fill up on lovely fresh water to drink.

Kirk o' Shotts Parish Church
Visit was out of curiosity. Solid church. Well kept cemetery. Steeped in history. Church was 200years old in 2021. Graves date back to 1600's. Covenanters graves and CWGC graves. Wind would cut you in two. So visit on a calm day, great views. Red gravel lay by at side of church of road. Gate leading into cemetery at lay by or past front entrance of church.
