I called Shane after my car started making a horrible twanging type noise and typically I was at an appointment and needed to get home. He gave me some advice on the phone on how to stay safe and booked me in for a review. Shane quickly diagnosed the problem (broken coil spring), explained it all to me and booked the work in, giving me a reasonable estimate. The work was carried out quickly, efficiently (he picked up my car) and the cost was more than reasonable. Shane himself is lovely, personable and I will be using him again! Thank you Shane

I would highly recommend 'Panic Mechanic'. Shane was extremely helpful and professional. He checked my Seat Ibiza engine bay and fitted a new alternator belt after a breakdown, he clearly explained what was being checked and also replaced a bolt that had been left (!!!) by another garage.The online Quoting and Acceptance was really easy to use and the contactless payment system.Really pleased to find a decent local mechanic, we will definitely use Panic Mechanic again, thanks very much!

First class car service from Shane. Responded swiftly to initial contact, even though it was the weekend, was highly professional throughout his time doing the job & invoiced as per estimate. He was also just an extremely nice human being in all dealings we had with him (which is priceless in itself). Will be using Panic Mechanic again without hesitation. Cannot recommend enough.

Shane was an absolute trooper for us this week. Our aging Ford KA was suffering from a blown power steering pump, and after trying to fix it myself several times it finally completely gave up. After leaving a message for him on a Sunday afternoon, Shane got back to us first thing Monday and was off sourcing parts and working on the car in our garage within 24 hours. This was the first time we used Shane, but we'll definitely use him for help in the future. Very competitive rates, extremely honest and helpful.
