Brightlingsea Sailing Club

Very friendly and passionate about their club.

This is a great location to run the kind of community art workshops we like to do in the area. It's a fab location, and excellently designed and appointed facility and the people involved were unfailingly helpful. It clearly serves a very wide constituency and age range, it's obviously a well functioning members club for sailing but has also totally got it as far as being a welcoming and 'non-clubby' place for staging all sorts of other activities. Brightlingsea is fortunate to have this amongst several other local amenities whether run by independent clubs, community associations or as part of local authority provision. Lovely place to walk around, bring the kids crabbing

Beautiful place. Two beach side eateries, with good prices and at surprisingly good prices. Couple of pubs and a fish and chip shop. Not tried yet. Thankfully no tatty amusements. Lots of activity on the water. Very relaxing day. We go 5 to 6 times a year. Love it !!

Lovely place to spend the time with friends do sailing and having a nice homemade burger fried in front of you

Excellent Sailing Club for Youth Members. Courses are very “hands-on” and great for open water sailing.

I came here today to watch my son get his sailing certificate for the buoyed up course his class has been doing for the last 3 days. The beach here is beautiful, it felt so serene and calm and a place we may visit again in the near future

You can buy food and drink quite easily as a non member but you get told by a very rude fat woman as a non member you can't use the toilet!

A lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life ...set on the essex coast ,7 miles from clacton ,a no thrills day out ,To see the sun setting across the bay is a must !

Great little place, always a friendly local to chat to. Beach box coffee there in peak times for snacks and a lovely coffee, and a great walk
