Very much as I'd expect from a hill. The verticality and general domeness belies its dirty little secret. It is artificial!! A nice spot to start on the walls. Less pleasant to stop there. Close to the river though and it does have crows.

Lovely walk on historic walls and climbed on the top of the hill it was beautiful connection with nature

Lovely walks with a view and the smell of nature and history. It takes about 4-5 miles if you wanted to walked the whole of the wall in the city.
