My husband and I used Your Move James Barrett to sell our home. We first dealt with James who was personable and talked us through the process. He marketed the property quickly and we were pleased with this service. Sandra dealt with the viewings and as the sale went through. Again she was fantastic navigating a few complex issues and supporting us through it. She was always available whenever we rang and helped ease some of stress. We would fully recommend Your Move James Barrett.

Fantastic service. Ex pat selling UK house while based in Australia. No-fuss and no-drama. James was a pleasure to deal with. Received multiple offers for the property after his first viewing - some above valuation. Support was provided throughout by James until sale concluded and money transferred. From quotation to completion, Your Move were brilliant. James offered an incredibly competitive price and viewings were arranged efficiently and easily; with both us and Your Move doing different viewings.Once we had accepted an offer, Sandra (and her team) was an absolute star. Had brilliant experience as a landlord letting through this branch so decided to give them a shot selling my property and was very disappointed with the experience. The agents claimed to be familiar with the property type/construction , yet the first buyers mortgage application was declined due to properly type and ( allegedly vetted buyers ) not fitting residential criteria to apply with another lender. Kept in the dark and chased for a week and a half , can only assume they and their 'approved' mortgage advisor were trying to 'fix' this. The second buyer they introduced offered over asking price to put off the two who offered asking price, only to gazunder us weeks before completion.No attempt was made to assist with renegotiating leaving this all to us , literally just forwarding emails between us and the buyer.The moment a sale is agreed you're very much on your own and this was unfortunately our experience with after sale and after completion enquiries.We previously sold through hunters and manning stainton , including leasehold high rise flat with cladding , so not an easy standard construction house - absolutely no issues and fully supported throughout the process making sure we got the best deal. Your Move either do not have the knowledge or the resources to support after sale process, making us feel they were working for the buyers rather than for us.Two stars only because the letting experience was a positive one.Wouldn't not sell through them again.

I have used Your Move letting service as a landlady. Ben was great and always kept in touch and got things done. He was never pushy etc. Really thorough and helpful. Your Move has to be the best estate agents out there. Not only are their fee's resenable and cheaper than other well known estate agents but they go the extra mile for their clients. My partner and I fell in love with a house which was also marketed by Your Move. They helped us every step of the way as well as keeping us informed of the process and chasing up solicitors!They are friendly, approachable and professional I would highly recommend. House sale went through smoothly using James Barrett who kept us continually updated. All required documentation was done online which was simple and their fees were cheaper than the other estate agents we contacted. Overall I would recommend them.
