I went there for a snack and a drink. No parking. Entrance for all people. Shown to a table. Ordered by a bar code on the table and paid the same way. Quite easy to do, even for me. Food was very good and prices competitive. There is front and back room to the premises, and a rear door. To get to either in the premises there are steps. So you have to pick the room you want prior to going in, if you cannot manage steps. Well worth a visit.

I had previously rated it five stars. However, after booking a table for afternoon tea, when I arrived, they did not know my booking. They then hastily put together some disappointing sandwiches and cakes. The sponge cake was dry, and the icing was of poor quality. On top of that, the service was substandard, and staff were rude at times.I shall not visit again.

I booked a surprise baby shower for my sister here and had the best time! The decorations were gorgeous, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic! My main contact was Becky, she was very responsive and knew exactly what to do, very representative of all the staff there who are lovely.

What a beautiful little cafe. Didn't get to fully experience it.. but So much good community spirit . I loved the pay it forward board.. and the book nook. And look forward to browsing in the shop and maybe even an ice cream one day. Will definitely be going back

Why 5 stars it just years of hard work brining an amazing beautiful cafe with outside seating , fantastic seating inside an amazing menu and amazing coffee to choose from ! They have cozy music evenings enjoy a drink & something to eat ! Making Stalybridge a special place to visit & make memories!

Met up with my friend who lives locally. A really lovely spot, not too busy (lunch midweek) and great for a brew and chatter.I ordered the tomato soup, which wasn't amazing but was ok (a little tinned tomatoey). The bread roll was lovely.My friend had the Welsh rarebit and we both commented on how the bread was a little disappointing. It really needed a much thicker slice.The coffee was also nice but again, it wasn't anything spectacular.I would definitely return and try other food options.

Quite disappointing - at nearly £30 for two, I expected a better afternoon tea. Sandwiches were plain, tuna mayo heavy on mayo. Four quarters per person so not generous. The worst part was the stale scones. I don't even think they were yesterday's scones, they tasted like they were two days old. So, so dry. I wanted to draw the staff's attention to this but nobody came to ask how our lunch was so it just would have felt awkward to approach them. Also I would have hoped to see homemade cakes at a place like this but they are cardboard wrapped and synthetic tasting. It's a shame.

My daughter and me have been coming here for a long time now, we love it here and my daughter just wished to have her birthday party here. We had a princess tea party with the help of Nicola and the team who set up, made amazing food and looked after us. We received amazing friendly service as always. Thank you everyone!!
