O'Doherty Dental Care

Fantastic dental practice. I've been with the practice for over 20 years. When they moved to Lisburn from Belfast l stayed with them because my treatment has been second to none. When you've an excellent dentist you don't risk your dental health and care by moving elsewhere. John's work has never been other than perfect. I've had all types of dental work done, and my crowns have lasted longer than l could have imagined. I thought I'd have had to change at least some of them after 2 decades for wear and tear. What I've had changed was for purely cosmetic reasons - work done by previous dentists! As for the nursing and reception staff? I can't understand anyone remarking negatively. I've been treated courteously and professionally at all times. I would recommend O'Doherty Dental Care to anyone in a heartbeat.

Been using here for 3 plus years usually ok BUT 1 day i found the dentists attitude to be well off and not the way to speak to a customer he was rude and unpleasant cause i was needing info on something. WONT GO BACK AS I HAVE FOUND A GOOD DENTIST WITH A GOOD ATTITUDE.

Dentists themselves are lovely, receptionists on the other hand are a different story. Very dry and unhelpful. Snattery even. Manners cost nothing and go along way.

Have been trying to get an appointment at my dentist since 2020 and continuously told by the receptionists that they are only taking “emergency appointments due to covid”, while other dentists have been seeing patients all through the pandemic to care for them every 6months as is required. Now into January 2022 and my filling and half of my tooth broke and fell out. Had I been seen this could have been avoided. Very unhappy and will most definitely not be back. Have moved my children to another dentist also. Would not recommend and reception staff as others have described are unhelpful in their general attitude.

The receptions just lost them 6000 pounds of private dental implant work. All because she was too lazy to ask what was the urgent appointment needed for'. Ah well I will find a more approachable dentist else where.."

Has been my dentist for years, an my teeth are perfect, an staff has always been very professional

Left a 3 star review over a year ago saying the dentist where great but the reception made you not want to come back. But recently they have been great and very welcoming considering the extra stress they've been under and I thought they deserve a 5 star review

Called to make an appointment for my children but was told as it's more than 6 months they aren't registered anymore then they hung up the phone. Unbelievably awful customer service

After 60+ years with this practice, I have finally moved myself and my family to another dentist. Such a difference - lovely reception staff, check ups, scale and polish done, and not having to wait outside in the cold.

Staff couldn’t be more helpful & friendly. Highly recommend. 5*
