As a wedding photographer, I know just how important it is to work well with another wedding vendor on the day of a couples wedding. Working with Mati at a recent wedding was fantastic. From our first introduction to organising the logistics of everyone of the day, Mati exuded a calm, proficient, and professional approach. She was incredibly friendly and held all of the vendors together with valuable information about timings on the day.She was very organised and this put me at ease to also do my job for the couple. We chose Mati as our wedding coordinator in the middle of lockdown! She made us feel so at ease throughout the planning process and was always available to offer her support and advise. Mati and her team were an integral part of our whole wedding process and we couldn’t have done it without them! The icing on the cake is that Mati is so warm, lovely and friendly.

I am a wedding photographer and worked with Mati on a wedding in September 2020. From start to finish, I found her responsive, friendly and very professional. She kept in touch regarding changes to wedding plans due to Covid and I must say, on the wedding day, although it was a small wedding ( due to Covid restrictions ) She made it a perfect one. Mati Gono Events was hired to plan my son's wedding and oh my goodness what a great planner she is.She takes the stress away from you, does all the leg work and just leaves you to sit calmly and choose whatever it is you need to choose - the venue, the food, the drinks you need it, Mati conjurs it up.Every panic - Mati took care of it and put you at ease. Every. stressful moment leading up to the wedding day - Mati took care of it. If you think you've forgotten things to do for your wedding - Mati is right there to let you know what you have done and what you need to do. She is fantastic.With Mati on your side all you need to do is enjoy the day.Oh! but. wait - I haven't finished! The wedding day itself!Mati is at your wedding, quietly making sure everything is running smoothly. She is behind the scenes making sure all the services you hired are doing what they are supposed to be doing, when they are supposed to be doing it, making sure everyone is at the ready and there when you are ready. The food was served when it was supposed to be served the drinks were served when they supposed to be served, the speeches started when they were supposed to started. The DJ started when he was supposed to. The right people were posing for the photographer when they were supposed to, Everything ran so smoothly because of Mati. Truly a great organiser.This is a lady that pays acute attention to detail and believe me that is the sort of person you need!If you tried your best to find fault (and why would you?), you wouldn't be able to. When people were all over the place with nerves, Mati got everyone calm. Everything went without a single hiccup and the whole day was so very elegant and all because of Mati. If you want someone you can truly, truly, rely on for a perfect wedding and a perfect day, it's Mati Gono Events.You can liken her to a magician - if you can't find it - ask Mati. If you've never heard of it - ask Mati. I'm convinced she even put the sunshine in her pocket and brought it along with her on the day! Mati was the best wedding planner and coordinator we could have asked for! She took full control of the planning but still allowed us to get involved as much as we wanted. We are a very particular and some might say controlling bride and groom but she AND her team handled us so well. They were so patient and kind on the day and everyone has been so impressed with how smooth our traditional wedding and white wedding were.
