World Duty Free

The woman shop assistant working at the Oakley section working on the 14th of August around 19:30-20:30 dark hair, quite short around 5'5, was completely clueless and weird. After asking for barging past my arm to help" me she proceeded to randomly point at glasses that ive also clearly seen and saying "oh but there's those" and trying them on like an idiot she said "no we dont have these" and proceeded to blindly try on half the glasses on display whilst explaining these are designer glasses. overall the shop looked decent however that strange interaction with that goblin made me just walk away from there."

Plenty of choice of alcohol, chocolate, make-up, toiletries etc. (See photos)Unfortunately the make-up sections don’t seem to be as well stocked as they once were. As twice now they’ve been out of the colour or thing I wanted (lipstick, nail polish).Perfume still cheaper here than outside duty-free but some make/up is often on offer in the UK stores and chocolate can certainly be bought cheaper in supermarkets in the UK.But well stocked and better than a lot of duty-frees I visit abroad.Staff friendly and never found them rude as other reviews imply (and I often come through here and purchase).

I bought so many things in here. Also, really friendly and helpful staff!

Wide range of shops but prices aren’t always lower than normal offers outside. Always check prices online before buying! Workers there are always happy to help.

Don't be fooled by the 'Sale' discounts etc especially on sunglasses and similar items. Things seem to be marked up at the absolute maximum retail with huge reductions but on the whole the same can be bought on amazon for considerable less. Byers beware. Ray ban new wayfarers for example £45.00 less

The price for the perfume was cheaper than online (it’s not always like that). The 2 British, blonde hair and blue eyes ladies working on the 15th August around 05:00am at the self service check out, were not really helpful. They seem to be quite unhappy when I asked the receipt. When I was leaving the store the gent asked me the receipt and I needed to show the transaction on phone. Quite inconvenient. They work for duty free, they must know that someone gonna ask me the receipt!

The sellers in the duty free shop at Stansted airport are unfriendly and rude. They stand there for decoration. They don't do their job. I came to ask 3 times for additional information, and ended up with not getting help at all and only to be looked at with no response. It especially applies to the male population. I don't know if the sellers know English at all and if they know it, there is obviously a problem or they just don’t want to talk to customers. Some changes or checks should definitely be introduced for this way of working. I don't know what exactly the sellers are paid for.
