I have been a member of this dentist for 4 years or so and only managed to secure 2 check-up appointments for my family. I havenot been able to secure any check-up appointments for over 2.5 years myself, my husband and my two young children. However, 6 months ago we finally managed to get an appointment for February, however my husband received letter saying his appointment was cancelled where no reason was provided or any alternative appointment given. How can a appointment be cancelled with no reason given or alternative dates. I am assuming my husband won't get another appointment for another 6 +months.I have just called to make an emergency appointment for my daughter and was told there are none today so I should call 111 or call back tomorrow and try again. No offer for anything other than that, or advice as to why I was calling. When we have managed to see the dentist and hygienist they've been very good, however, it's impossible getting an appointment.I understand our services are struggling, but this is too much and the service is incredibly bad.

Had an appointment on the 9th of June. Was seen over an hour late and the interaction with the reception was very poor i.e. there wasn't any! No updates no explanation. Poor lady after me had her appointment cancelled on the spot as they were running so late.Drilling for filling made my gum bleed and as a result dentist had to give me a temporary filling that he had 'seen' last up to 2 months before. Straight out to reception to book the follow up - earliest was 31st of July as the dentist to which I have been assigned (with no consultation of course) only works Mondays and Fridays! When I expressed concern that this was at the limit of the expected life of the temporary filling I was told I could always buy the kit from Boots to reapply it myself. Definitely worth the few hundred quid for that level of care.Just had a phone call today that my dentist will be on a course that day so appointment has been cancelled. I guarantee that I won't now be seen for another month plus so I will have gone for a quarter of a year with a temporary filling. Request to be seen by a different dentist are met with your dentist must finish your treatment course or they won't get paid". We'll I'm sorry - that shouldn't be my problem should it? Is it acceptable that an issue caused by the dentist (injury to gum) isn't going to be resolved for so long?10 years ago this practice was great but has gone downhill along with dentristry in the UK in general. I don't blame dentists wanting to do private work but this practice is now not care focused - they are just counting the money. Nevermind if you have real dentistry issues you'll see the posters advertising unnecessary aesthetic procedures because they can charge what they like for those. Such a shame.I'd suggest to anyone reading this you find a practice that has full time as opposed to part time dentists. One that can actually see you within reasonable time scales and that does not cancel appointments so frequently (just read the other reviews). There are others in Woodbridge with far better reviews.Oh

I have been waiting 3 years for an appointment. Orifinaly seen by an out of hour dentist eslewhere, who told me i need a particular dental treatment. This dentist was only emergency treatment over covid. Then all the nhs dentists have left. Got one appointment booked in may which was canceled due to unforseen circumstances then tanotjer booked 2 months later which was also cancelled as dentist was leaving and only seening follow up patients. I asked to speak to a manager and no one ever called me back. I'm still waiting for a dentist to this day. I feel like this dentist has left me with ongoing infections and they don't even care. Not able to find an lterntive as the area not taking on patients.

Absolutely appalling. Said they don't offer NHS Emergency Appointments, Yet the website for the Woodbridge branch says it does. I'm in severe pain after they messed up the tooth in the first place, And now they are refusing to fix it even after it's already been paid for. You should be ashamed.

I drove from Leiston to Melton for my appointment yesterday, which I had to get a babysitter for me to attend…that I’ve had booked for a year to be told that it’s been cancelled and they didn’t tell me. She said I should have had aa email, text or letter but I’d had nothing. She then tells me that the dentist I had isn’t NHS anymore and so I basically need to find a new dentist or ring them every 6-8 weeks! If they had informed me I could be on a waiting list by now for somewhere else but every dentist I try has closed their waitlist due to it being full. I am absolutely fuming. I understand the state of NHS dentistry at the moment but to not even inform me and let me waste my time and money to get there! And now leaving me without a dentist and no hope of finding one is absolutely disgusting. I phoned 3 months ago to cancel my daughter’s appointment and I mentioned then that I was an NHS patient and they just said “ok” could have told me then!!I’ve been with this dentist for just under 10 years and they just drop me like yesterdays garbage. Also whatever they’ve done to the waiting room makes it look like a prison visitation room, it was much nicer before.Response: I can assure you this is not incorrectly added to the wrong practice and I will not be removing it.

After having a ver poor experience, I complained via their website. This was acknowledged, but then nothing! I was forced to pay as a Private patient, but will now be taking my business elsewhere. I work in a regulated environment and find it unbelievable that they can choose to ignore a complaint process!

I paid up front for an appointment for myself 6 months in advance. Phoned up a couple of days before to confirm the time. They said there was no appointment booked for me. So booked another which was only in 2 weeks. A text message arrived on the same number as my previous appointment. On finding the time, I phoned up again to confirm I hadn't got 2 appointments booked and a different person answers. I get told that they can see the appointment, but I rescheduled it to 2 weeks time. Some what confused at this point and after a few discussions it turned out my original appointment was postponed??2 weeks time, today, I go to my appointment to be told it was postponed again???Postponed is the dentists nice way of saying I have cancelled it. You need to rebook. But both times not told.....Was informed that this happens because the dentists don't book training or holidays that far in advanced. But I booked my 2nd appointment 2 weeks ago. Even though I recieved text messages for the appointments I booked, I was not in the system to receive messages of postponed/cancelled appointments or letters? But I have been receiving letters about joining their club? And if that is how my account was set up then why did no one phone me?Then there is my son's appointment, his appointment has been postponed 3 times now. Dentist advised he was supposed to be seen every 6 months, we are nearly at a year.I got a better service at this dentists when I went under the NHS. Such a shame the service has dropped.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Absolutely appalling, same as most of the other reviews.First time I went to the practice I was put in the 2 week cancer pathway. At the age of 30 and working in cancer services myself I was obviously extremely worried. After multiple appointments at the hospital, turns out I was referred for a piece of skin....that was meant to be in my mouth, it was just more prominent than most other people's!!!!!Covid hit and mine and my sons routine appointments were cancelled, fair enough. Rung in March last year to be told along with government guidelines they were only taking on emergencies, as all dentists were. I looked for this government advice, didn't exist. Spoke to multiple family members and friends, their dentists were all doing routine check ups.Rung again today to try once more to book an appointment after months of the government advise excuse, only to be told 'we don't do NHS patients anymore'. Apparently they will inform their NHS patients by post at some point. Eventually I agreed I would pay for a check up, £43, which I was told had to be paid over the phone today to secure my appointment. At this point I politely declined and hung up the phone. Now looking for a new dentist....wish me luck!Oh and if you respond to this, you won't find me in your system, because this account is under my maiden name. So don't use that as an excuse.

What a shoddy operator this one is! My daughter had an appointment booked (as an NHS patient) for April which was cancelled with no apology, no alternative appointment due to 'unforeseen circumstances'. I went in to make another appointment and was told that she couldn't have another because they have no NHS capacity. What has actually happened is that the existing dentists who previously did NHS work are now refusing to do so, so the lack of capacity is self-created.The reception staff were quite unpleasant and strident (of course accusing me of the same). I expect they had already had quite a bit of practice dealing with similar situations with other irate patients. This practice is clearly quite happy to put its customer's nose out of joint in pursuit of the bottom line. Not sure if I'd expect them to them to be any nicer to my teeth.

Similar to other reviews, there's no availability for NHS patients. Just had mine cancelled with no date for any future options - although if I pay more to become a private patient then of course there is availability...Also - my daughter needs some treatment now to resolve an issue with her adult teeth coming through but because she's not in enough pain, there's no option to see her soon.I liked the actual dentist we used to see (I can just about remember that far back!), but it's not good enough to have no appointments for adults and very limited options for our children.
