A combination of covid lockdowns, bad weather and other commitments, this July we got to meet Wesley & Spencer and Coco & William - definitely worth the wait. The open day was beautiful, such friendly people, interesting stalls to browse but the real stars were in the fields, they all looked very content and it was joy to see them all. I hope the day raised much needed funds every animal deserves a life free from cruelty.

Great time celebrating my birthday at this wonderful rescue place for many horses, donkeys, goats, & sheep. I visited on their last Open Day of the year, Sept 4th '22. They have a great army of volunteers who manned the various stalls selling a variety of things from homemade cakes to jigsaws and books. There was a raffle and tombola, a magician, facepainter, a dog show, a singing duo, refreshments and of course all the animals to meet and read their various stories (some are heart rending) Even Minnie Mouse paid Remus a visit! An entry ticket is bought as you arrive after parking in one of the fields (disabled parking too) the carparking attendants were very helpful and friendly. Much needed funds were raised along with the opportunity to sponsor an animal or two....or three of your choice!

Great opportunity to look at and pet rescued horses, goats and ponies on a guided tour. Lovely afternoon tea too, to raise funds for this local sanctuary. A really pleasant afternoon.

Wonderful afternoon tea at Remus, to celebrate my mothers birthday. They certainly spoilt her with birthday banners, card, gift and a song. Thank you so much to all who organised this. It was a perfect way to spend an afternoon whilst also helping the brilliant charity that is Remus'. We will be back....

Lovely sanctuary where horses, donkeys and other animals recovering from abuse can be happy and healthy. Great to visit on an Open Day and see them in their fields. Note the sanctuary is only open to visitors on set Sundays
