Customer service here is excellent, all the staff are really friendly and helpful and if it was just for them it'd be 5 star. But...I shop here quite regularly and a lot of the time when I buy something that at the shelf has a red tag saying it's on offer, I get to the counter and when I check my recipet I can see I'd paid two or three times as much as I thought I'd have to because the item didn't scan as an offer. It's not good. Also the self-check out machines rarely work.

I have had nothing but good service here for over a year. The range is limited but does change frequently. The turnover of food is very quick and everything is fresh. It is slightly more expensive on some items than the Moor but still worth it. Even the security guards are friendly and helpful! Very unusual! In addition, I asked them over the phone to put some boxes aside for me for moving and received a very friendly and helpful response, unlike their big rivals! Definitely the best local Sainsbury's in Sheffield! Kudos to the young staff that work here.

Racist cashiers work in this shop. I was standing there in front of the self service checkout machines for ages and there were no people standing in front of the staffed cashier. They called other people to come in and pay until I was the last one standing to pay. The women working at the cashier made a few awkward eye contacts with me then blanked and did not offer to process my payment. Seriously do you think it is acceptable to behave like that working at a supermarket?

“No need for the face”Tried to buy a drink but didn’t realise contactless wasn’t working (didn’t bring my card or cash). Didn’t want the hassle so I handed the employee the drink I wanted to buy (so they didn’t think I was stealing it if I went to put it back) and as I turned to walk out of the store I got told “No need for the face”. Probably looked a bit peeved because I wanted to buy a drink but there wasn’t any need for that comment. Also got sarcastically told to “have a nice day” as I left. There was just no need.

Staff member told me to use self check outs when I asked for a hand at the tills, when I said I was buying a vape, she sent someone else, was proper dismissive. With Sainsbury's prices, they can't afford to have rude staff
