Arriva UK Bus

Wakefield's bus network is falling apart. We can't just blame Arriva for it. Lack of government funding, the 2020-2021 lockdowns have had a knock-on effect. Buses are now frequently cancelled, services are being reduced, and some routes completely withdrawn. Something needs to give.

Terrible bus service, expect to be waiting up to or over an hour for a bus just for it to be further delayed or cancelled. Would really not advise using these busses unless necessary.

The most diabolical bus provider in the Leeds area. Constant stream of late or completely cancelled busses. I pray that the company goes out to business as soon as possible.

Im disgusted in your service for 195&196. I live in Doncaster traveled to Wakefield to get a bus to see my dad thats a widow. Doesn’t see many people I waited over an hour not one bus . I had to tell my dad couldnt risk not been able to get back for a train. You really need to get this service sorted!!!

from eastmoor to work on Barnsley Road. every day one of the buses doesn't come and is late, sometimes several times a day! There's no way to make it on time. I buy a weekly ticket and already had to use a taxi 3 times in this week,to pick up my kids from gym class. Wasted money on tickets that are expensive anywayEdit.. . Today i back from work and waiting 3 buses should arrive during this time. In the order of 106, 196 and 106, all 3 did not arrive!Edit...Once again, there was no way to get to work on time. 106 and 196 canceled this morning. I go to work and back every day, and every day the buses I need to take are canceled or arrive at a different time than they should. People are not able to get to work on time!

Of course, no idea for solving problems...Sort of mini buses. For comfort just for New drivers, to make them morę related during colecting experience on Road. No option to build up their self confidence in delivering best customer transport.

The worst bus company ever! Every rime busses are late in Rothwell and today without announcement they close my bus stop and of course the driver at 13:12 (the looser from the pic) on wood lane road didn't stop. This will never happen if you really care about tour customers. Iwill get sacked from work because of you! Soon I will buy a car and will never use your crappy services again!

Hello I would like to write a complain where the 268 bus scheduled from Wakefield at 8:15 on the 12th of October went out of function midway through the journey yet I was forced to pay again to continue my journey with the other 268 bus (which also came late might I add). The reasons I was given is that I lacked the receipt from my previous non-fuctional bus despite it being right front of him (funny enough I was given no receipt on either of the buses). I don't know if I will get a refund (honestly that is of little importance to me) but such practices are just unacceptable not only is your company not capable of running your buses on schedule (some 268 outright don't come making your costumers waiting for hours) but some of your colleagues are comfortable charging twice for the route (to call this stealing would be a understatement). I only accepted to pay as I was late for work. Your reputation is already low as I witnessed being here for only three months, but I believe this crosses all lines of what is acceptable. All I can hope is for a sincere apology.

Arriva yorkshire - a bus might turn up or it might not

Happy to say staff are really good aspecialy in such difficult times.I've lost count how much it as cost having to throw frozen food away that has defrosted because buses have been cancelled. Poor!
