I would love for the venue to spend a little more money and put toilets on the same floor of the main hall. Aside from that, I can't fault the place, it's a fabulous venue, great staff, incredible atmosphere and very fairly priced. It's one of my favourite music venues, and a true legendary icon of Scotland

Barrowland Ballroom
This is the best gig venue anywhere in the world. Head up to floor one for a decent wee bar with good prices and brilliant staff, then up again to the dance floor. Every gig I've been to here has been phenomenal and the venue is definitely part of that. Two full bars upstairs and a can bar too so it's never too long to wait for a drink. Downstairs for the loo though so if you don't want to miss a tune go before the band come on.

Classic venue great friendly staff always a great atmosphere regardless who is playing, went to see the charlatans on Sunday night and it was a bit of a let down but was a great atmosphere and very nice crowd

First visit. We went to see Skipinnish, who were fab. Well organised bar, only downside was the wait outside in bitter cold. Doors weren't opened at 7 p.m. as advertised

Brilliant venue. Great sound and didn't feel overwhelmingly full even at a sold out show.Staff were brilliant and quick service at the bar.Would have liked a bit more selection of beers etc at the bar but I understand why they would limit selection in such a busy place.

Great venue! I came to watch TV Girl here, highly recommend it. The bar is great and priced well. Very spacious too.

Well organised venue from the queuing system outside, to the cloakroom and smooth operation of the bars. A great space which even when full didn't feel uncomfortably so.
