This is a really nice old house! Everything about it is is interesting. Events there will be memorable. Just a gorgeously preserved and appointed venue in a country setting. Hotels available, fairly nearby. If you are lucky enough to be invited to visit, go!

We had our wedding reception here in the summer and could not have picked a better place. The venue is stunning and Danielle and Michelle are superb at making the day absolutely perfect. The whole team on the day went above and beyond in every way.

It's a wonderful venue run by a lovely family. They have opened their home up as a day centre for the disabled called James Place and also use the house as a wedding venue which has had some great reviews. Beautifully landscaped and well maintained.

Last Saturday my partner Matt and I got married under the gazebo at Penton Park with a string quartet playing beside us. Guests were seated on a lawn mown to size in the wild meadow. Afterwards we had a confetti shot outside the front of the beautiful house before heading to the lawn for our reception. Guests played croquet, took photos of themselves in the hammock and on the swing, and said hello to Marmaduke, Penton Park's friendly Irish Wolfhound, and Fudge, the loveliest little lurcher, who we asked to join us for part of the reception.We dined then danced in the ballroom. By the end of the night guests could be found on the dancefloor, playing the piano and signing around it, chatting by the bar and catching up with family around the fire pit or curled up on the sofas. It's such a versatile venue and for a day it feels like home, filled with all your favourite people.Danielle, her husband Guy and Michelle, the Events Coordinator, took such wonderful care of us and our guests. They are so warm, knowledgeable, responsive, thoughtful and helpful - everything you could ever want when planning your wedding and enjoying the day itself. If you want to see just how organised they are, ask to see one of the event sheets they put together after their final operational meeting with each couple (4-6 weeks before the wedding) - you know you're in the safest pair of hands once you've seen how much they think of for you!

Danielle, Guy, Michelle and the team were absolutely incredible from the get go. Not only are they professional and highly experienced, but they are friendly and approachable and go the extra mile to ensure that your special day is exactly how you want it to be. The venue is absolutely stunning and we have had so many compliments from guests about how lovely the staff were on the day itself. We were very pleased to use Penton Park as the venue for our Summer event. It is very conveniently located & the house & grounds are unique and very beautiful. There is no other location like it in the Andover area.Of particular note, was the very useful advice and guidance provided by Danielle Rolfe. Her very warm hospitality, intimate knowledge of the venue and vast experience in events at Penton was invaluable to us in the planning. Danielle played a huge part in making our event a great success and for that we are extremely grateful. We would certainly recommend Penton Park to anybody looking to hold a special event in the area.

Came here for a wedding. A wonderful day! Beautiful surroundings. Delicious food. I came here in the 90s when it was a school... the owners have done an incredible job of returning it to it's former glory as a country house.

As we live overseas, we booked Penton Park for our wedding sight unseen" and any nervousness we had immediately disappeared when we saw it for the first time and were greeted by Danielle and Guy like old friends - and with a glass of champagne. It was everything we were looking for - a beautiful outdoor space and historic country house

Great wedding venue and customer service.Food was excellent.Lovely grounds.Unfortunately as there are so many rooms for people to disappear to, the evening disco party fell a litlle flat.Felt sorry for the DJ (playing music to himself)
