Went to this jewellers looking for a piece of jewellery for my wife's birthday. The lady behind the counter didn't even acknowledge that I was in the shop, even after saying hello to her. After looking around for a few minutes, I wasn't even asked if I needed any help. In the end I just walked out. Very rude and unprofessional

Took my very damaged engagement ring to be repaired, took 2 months to get back, but oh my worth the wait!looks better than it ever did & price reasonable considering it was platinum & the entire mount had to be re-built. Highly recommended! Thank you for getting it back to me in time for my wedding in April

I went to Clayton’s yesterday to have a look at some golden bracelets as I had heard good things regarding the local jewellers. I was welcomed by a lady who was very helpful and welcoming. She took me through what was available. I eventually decided on a piece I fell in love with, she had it polished up and in a lovely box for no extra charge.The lady also helped me regarding a query for a treasured family heirloom I needed fixing. I am happy to say I will be returning to her as she was a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable.I am all for supporting local businesses and this is one I shall definitely support. This is the 2nd time we have used this jewellery shop now. Both times over the years have been a great experience. They have a very large selection of jewellery on offer. The staff are polite and very professional.

Amazing service. I visited in a hurry with short notice with the need for a mens wedding band. The staff were attentive, polite and knowledgeable. They found me a perfect ring at a good price. Alex polished it up and adjusted it the same day for a great fit. My family have always used and recommended Claytons and I'm happy to say the same. Keep supporting local and long live Claytons!

It's a nice little shop, it's sells a lot of second hand jewellery, they also do valuations, you have to ring the door bell to get let in, friendly service
