Delicious dosa, biryani and the best paratha I've ever tasted. All with home made chutneys and relishes. You may have to wait a little as it's cooked to order but it's really worth is.

Excellent food. Perfectly cooked quality dishes, really tasty. Unpretentious venue, a small menu executed properly. We had the white pepper roasted chicken masala, the beef masala and both were lovely but the starters from the specials board, the chicken fry and prawn fry were sublime. We had to wait half an hour for a table as we didn't book so I suggest booking to avoid disappointment although the staff were all very pleasant and accommodating.

Visited them in their new premises.Menu has expanded. Still the same exquisite flavours. Word of mouth reviews led us to The White Pepper. It didn't disappoint. It does not have the overlong menu of traditional curry houses but what they do is specialise. And every meal is exquisite. You will not be disappointed.Whoever is the chef is at the very top of their profession at the moment. We had the fried prawn starter, beef biryani and sea bass. All cooked to perfection.

Do not judge a book by its cover!!! Although the decor is very dull and could do with some personality, the food was outstanding! The flavours and textures gave you nothing but a real taste of authentic Indian cuisine. The staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant soon got busy. If you like Indian food, don’t miss out on this place.

A real shame, we dined with friends who had been before and had warned us that service was slow but that the food was worth the wait. It took more than 90 minutes for our starters, we had got to the point of leaving as there was no communication from the waiters or the kitchen. When the food finally arrived it was delicious, but I am not sure that I would recommend or wait this length of time ever again. They had several takeaway orders going out during our visit and I am not sure where the priorities lay. If you are happy to wait upto 2 hours for your meal go otherwise look elsewhere.

Absolutely gorgeous food and excellent service. Can’t recommend enough for authentic Indian cuisine. By far the best!

The White Pepper Weymouth
This restaurant falls short in several aspects. The shocking old-fashioned decor, resembling a dated church hall, creates an atmosphere that feels more out-of-touch than charming. The worn-out carpets add to the overall shabbiness.Located in the back room of a building, the setting is peculiar and fails to contribute positively to the dining experience. The curry, while not terrible, lacks the exceptional quality one might hope for. It hovers around mediocrity, leaving diners with unmet expectations.Service, though polite, carries a noticeable awkwardness. The staff's interactions lack the seamless professionalism one would expect in a dining establishment. Overall, this restaurant seems to struggle in both ambiance and culinary excellence, making it a less-than-ideal choice for those seeking a satisfying and comfortable dining experience.

The food was outstanding and the service to match. My wife and I are from an area full of Indian culture and we have had our fair share of Indian food, but this was fantastic and some of the best we have had. It’s authentic and not cooked just to please the English, which is always a positive and you get to really experience the taste of Kerala. The staff are really lovely and it’s clear they have a passion for what they do.Would love to go back should we find ourselves in Weymouth again.

I am extremely fussy when it comes to food but I can say without a doubt that this was the best Indian food I've tasted in a long time. Took a while getting to the table but good things come to those who wait". Would make the trip from Birmingham just to eat here."
