Our daughter discovered OA Sport while researching, from Japan, for a venue for a family gathering to welcome her new Fijian husband to UK and the family, and to celebrate their marriage with us all. They had been married in Japan during Covid far from both British and Fijian families, although Zoom brought us together virtually.OA Sport has proved to be the perfect venue for the celebration. We were able to use the Rugby field for a Blessing conducted by her father, (especially apt as our son-in-law is a keen Rugby fan) and she was able to use the changing facilities for a second dress after the ceremony before our meal.All guests were very impressed with the standard of catering - compliments to the chef and their team of helpers. It was great to have the bar available for guests and also the use of the music streaming and screen for film and slideshow during the event.Angelina was superbly professional guiding us in all the planning and nothing was too much trouble for the team in the run-up to the occasion, whilst the team on the day, with Andy, did us proud with the timing of the Welcome drinks, all 4 tables beautifully prepared, and the meal served. The recommended florists also came up trumps and were happy to liase with Old Albanians for the delivery. In spite of a cricket match happening at the same time, we had our own private space ...Thank You! Thank You all! Thank You!

A massive thank you to Angelina and Team for your assistance and the outstanding experience you provided at our Cheer and Dance Awards Event on Wednesday, July 12th. The event was magical and brilliant, thanks to your contributions. With 53 children and 63 parents in attendance at the awards ceremony, your planning truly made a remarkable impact on everyone. The personalised posh lemonades were a huge hit, and the children adored the extra special touch you added. The beautifully presented display table for the awards and the arrangement of the entire room created an evening of perfection.I cannot thank you enough for going above and beyond for us. Your dedication and expertise were clear in every aspect of the event. From assisting with the balloon arch and the backdrop for our photography corner to ensuring the music and sound system were working, you handled everything with ease.I would also like to extend my gratitude to Lisa for her amazing and friendly support. Her willingness to assist with any request was greatly appreciated. Additionally, I want to acknowledge the service provided by the two young lads and the young lady behind the bar. Their brilliance added to the overall success of the event.Once again, thank you for creating such a memorable experience for everyone involved. Your dedication and hard work were evident throughout.Thank you thank you thank you!!

The OA are always so accommodating, we have been hosting corporate and charity events here for years, and all our guests are always left really happy! The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. The prices are really reasonable too. I would recommend them every time!

We had a fantastic party at the OA’s last Saturday. The venue is fantastic, the outside space is gorgeous and it worked really well for our event. The team were so helpful from start to finish. Big thanks to Angelina for organising it all so well for us and ensuring it went smoothly, as well as the team on the night who were fab.

We had a lovely 20th wedding anniversary party at Old Albanians. Staff were very friendly and friends and family had a great time.

60th County & Western Party 17th February 2023. Angelina and the team were first class from the initial enquiry right through to the clean up after the event. The facilities are excellent. Angelina was very helpful in coming up with ideas and options to dress the venue for this themed party. We had a hog roast which was excellent, plus veggie options. I would highly recommend this venue and the very helpful and attentive team.

OA Sport hosted a wonderful evening party for our 50th wedding anniversary. The staff could not have been more helpful particularly Angelina who assisted us in getting things right for the night. The food was very good and plentiful and the option of having a served bar worked very well. The location and layout was great with room to move, dance and chat with guests including a lovely outside balcony which is covered. I could not recommend more highly

We hired OAs for our wedding 27th May 2023, and honestly couldn't have asked for a better venue. We found the organisation on the lead up to was swift, and the team were very accommodating with our asks and bespoke needs. When the day arrived, we were bowled over with how fantastic it all looked, and received so many compliments from our guests. All staff were friendly and helpful, and give the venue's sentimentality for my husband who has been a long standing member for a number of years, for us OAs was the perfect choice for a sports-themed wedding. 10/10 and would recommend to anyone!

I had my 50th Birthday here. From start to finish the whole experience was great. From the initial meetings to the actual night, Angelina organised everything and made sure the evening went smoothly and was an amazing success.She tailored the evening to my specifications from food, drinks, table layout, decorations, the cake and band. The staff on the night were fantastic, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone loved the hog roast and the reception drinks went down well.It's an amazing venue to hold a party. The inside, big enough for people to dance and sit (we had 4 round tables and approx 150 guests) and a band. The outside balcony areas are perfect when the weather is nice. It has a great bar that was open all night. All in all I cannot recommend OA Sport highly enough.Many thanks to Angelina and her team for making my 50th so special.

Big thank you to all the team at OA Sport for a brilliant evening where we recently held our 40th Anniversary Dinner-Dance for Garden Fields Cricket Club (aka the Men of Fields/MoF). Superb 3 course dinner with loads of choice for over 80 guests, great service and organisation and professionally managed. Superb venue all round with late finishing times made our evening really special.
