Flexistay Ambers Gatwick Aparthotel

I've really enjoyed my stay here. Clean rooms and areas. Breakfast all day in a very well equipped kitchen. Laundry and dryer. But the best of all is their great service. So if you are passing by Horley, looking for a place to stay while looking for a permanent place near Gatwick. This place is perfect! Highly recommended.

Clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small, but served its purpose. Water pressure was good. Service was friendly and efficient. It's an 8 minute drive to Gatwick from the hotel, so perfect for an overnight stay before an early flight. Would recommend.

The hotel is like a multiple-apartment house. There is no reception desk. Self check-in is not hard following the simple instructions sent by the hotel upon booking. The hotel is a bus ride away from the airport. The bus costs around £2.50. The room was very small, but clean. The French doors have a curtain. There is a yard behind the French doors. The bathroom had only a shower. Quite small. There was no kettle in the room, although the hot tap water is scalding, so we easily made tea with it. On the other hand, considering there are separate hot and cold water taps, unless you are filing the sink with water, you either use cold water or risk burning your hands. The kitchen is communal. It is not too big and there will be many people. So, be prepared to share the space as you are cooking your breakfast, which is any time of the day. We liked the cookies and the arrangement of the coffee and tea bags, sugar in the room. Set with care. Although there was linen dust settled in the cups because they were probably set before the bed was made.

I've given this place a five star as it was perfect for what we wanted and for the price paid. The rooms were fine, tea and coffee, private bathroom with shower, and a plug in heater (which was needed as it was cold but the heater sorted it out). There was a hair drier in our room.The check in progress was ace, key left in a save box and a code emailed to us on the day so super quick check in process which was great after a day travelling.The common areas where great. All you can eat breakfast provided (you just have to cook it). There was bread, bacon, eggs, milk, juice and cereal. We paid £17 for the room so I think to have a breakfast as well is brilliant price! Lots of room in the kitchen and everything labelled so easy to find.If I was travelling to Gatwick I would deffo stay here again. And best bit - we could walk to the airport (took 27 mins) from the hotel through a nice bit of wooded area (pathed and sign posted) which was a great start to the holiday as no stress getting there (no bags ).

Could use a serious deep cleaning. Security concerns with non-locking entree doors at patio. Thin walls. All day breakfast is amazing. Good value but will try something else next time.

Loved this place! Stayed the night before departing from the UK. Kitchen with make your own breakfast, laundry, very clean, courteous staff, 6 mins from Gatwick. Not in airport traffic lane so no air noise.

Great location for Gatwick Airport. Free parking. Free & good WIFI. Good price. Clean basic room with a powerful shower. There is a dispenser by the sink otherwise you need to bring your own toiletries. Thankfully I had just enough face wash to use in the shower. For the money, it's a good offer. Haven't given 5-stars because the room was very hot and no shower gel provided. Will use again.Note, there isn't a reception however you speak to someone via an intercom and the room key is in a key locker with code.

It's a good place for a short stay near the airport. The room is small but has all the necessary amenities and it's clean. The common area is very nice, with a fully equipped large kitchen and many foods available to cook (eggs, bacon, potatoes, oats) as well as cereals, bread and jam. It's near the airport and there are public buses nearby that take you to the airport. A problem is that there's no elevator, so if you have large luggage it can be a struggle. Also, the bathroom was outside the room which isn't very convenient. Reception isn't 24/7 but they'll send detailed instructions to self check-in

Complementary DIY English style breakfast, coffee, tea, cereals and snacks which is available all day, as well as self-service laundry! Arrived at midnight when the reception is closed but we received clear instructions to enter the premises. Short drive to the airport would definitely recommend this place.
