Love this place, it’s new, it’s cool and it’s one of many great independents that this city has. Absolutely delicious bread, sandwiches, rolls and all kinds of cakes / bakes. Served by friendly staff, 7 days a week! Plenty of options for us vegans too, all at competitive prices. Fast becoming one of our new favourites!

I had their choco chip cookie couldn't believe how much chocolate they had used as some places skimp but really nice husband had pulled pork sausage roll and he said meat was tasty and tender. Enjoyed coffee reasonably priced for under a tenner so dont let the word artisan mean dearer prices. Situ in the museum quart it was nice to sit outside.

A real hidden gem. You need to visit if you are in or near old town. Close to the museums. Excellent coffee and the cookies are great! Good menu and friendly helpful staff.

I love coming in here and staring at (read:eating) the wonderful baked goods or watching as the steaming, freshly baked bread gets sliced for sandwiches. Ana is not only a fantastic baker but also a warm, witty presence in these quarters. The coffee is easily the best in the neighbourhood and their vegan range is truly spectacular. The staff are not only trained in excellent baking but have also brightened my day more than once. Thank you for bringing such a lovely café here!

We came twice either side of a museum visit today. Food was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Disappointing to notice the tables appeared to still have the crumbs from our previous visit. In fact all the inside tables had not been cleaned since their last customer. It wasn't busy at all so really no excuse. Pity. 5 stars otherwise.

What a delight. Great sandwiches and creative and delicious baked goods. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, comfortable place to spend time. If I lived in Hull, I’d be there often.

I placed and paid for an order here and was given a collection time today. When I arrived on time, the place was closed and locked up. There was another customer waiting too. I had driven 20 minutes to get there. Totally unacceptable! Don’t take the orders if you’re not going to be professional enough to honour them!

Simple stuff, done well. Pushed the boat out and had a double espresso and croissant. Croissant was fresh and buttery, coffee was excellent and for good measure it's sourced from River City coffee just a mile away across the city. Should mention the staff were friendly too!
