Grange Pony Trekking
Fantastic 2 hour horse riding trek through beautiful countryside. My partner and I were paired with suitable horses based on our experience level. Horses truly looked after us and were very well behaved. Sarah was a great guide and gave clear directions and instructions. Horses were happy and obviously well cared for. Will be back when I come back to Wales!

It was a lovely experience. The family is quite laidback but also very helpful. The room was lovely, and the house which has a 50s/60s style. The pony trekking was good. The only feedback I'd want to share is that we were expecting to do some trotting which we were eager for but it was mostly walking. The views were incredible from up the mountain. We loved it, thank you.

My partner and I had a wonderful 2 hour trek up the hillside surrounded by beautiful countryside. The horses were very well behaved and our guide Ruth was very warm and friendly. My partner had never ridden before and he fell in love with it.

First time riding a horse and seems a lot to take in at first but Sarah was great as an instructor. Got to ride Bagel a beautiful horse with a lot of character made it a very fun ride. If I could have got him in my boot I would have definitely tried.Stayed in the accommodation was so peaceful, everyone extremely friendly. Great place to go would definitely recommend.

Such a lovely day! Myself, partner and two children did the half day trek. The sights were absolutely incredible! Got to trek along country roads, streams, across water, through mountains/valleys. It was absolutely beautifulOn top of that, Rebecca, our trek leader was extremely warm and welcoming, shared a lot of local knowledge and overall made the whole experience so much better!100% recommend to anyone looking for a lovely day out with beautiful scenery in warm hands

Had the best 2 days here :) Did two half a day treks, beautiful views once you get to the top, it really is breathtaking! Stayed in the guesthouse for one night, and cant thank Jess enough for everything she done for me , lovely lady! All the staff were amazing to, and i will be back in the summer im sure! :)

Nestled right in The Black Mountains, in the Brecon Beacon National Park, you have spectacular views before you even set off. The views only get better as you head out on horseback. The horses are fantasticly behaved - they certainly know their jobs well. Everyone at the Grange are so lovely and accommodating. The rides cater for both complete beginners and advanced riders so a fun adventure for the whole family. I would highly recommend if you want to get out and see the Brecon Beacons from horseback (it's an exhilarating way to do it too)! You won't want to leave! Such a magical place!

I stayed in the shepherds hut with my fiancé for 1 night, regardless of other bad reviews it was totally fine! It's not luxury glamping but we had everything we needed and the location was wonderful with some lovely horse neighbours. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful (sorry forgot your name)Compost toilet was fine too.
