To the lady who works in the pharmacy with the awful fake tan, learn some manners. From previous reviews on here it seems you're on some kind of power trip handing out prescriptions. Incredibly rude and stand offish. Doesn't want to help. Got to the counter and she said 'what do you want?' If you don't want to talk to people, don't work in a customer facing job. Absolute jobsworth!Non pharmacy staff were lovely though, and the younger girl who works in the pharmacy. She is nice.

Almost always, they have the product I need. Have found staff friendly and helpful.

Pharmacist judgemental and rude. My wife attended to collect a prescription this week for a medication she had been prescribed and was scoffed at when the pharmacist saw what the prescription was for and looked up and down like a piece of dirt. The medication was then slung on the counter in front of my wife and despite her attempts to get any sort of communication at all from the unpleasant woman, was ignored as the pharmacist just turned and walked away. Surely in a medical role, an element of compassion, understanding or professionalism is the smallest expectation, but to be left feeling judged, self-conscious and unimportant is nothing but unacceptable. On reading the other Google reviews on this individual I find it astonishing that Boots are allowing this to continue unchallenged.

Wheel chair access is just right and the shop floor is just as good, when I was in shopping, I didn't see much of a crowd in the aisles, so 1400hrs on a Monday afternoon is the time to go and get the most without the crowds and crush.

Local Boots not to large but a good choice of goods. Still offering a good range of health and beauty care as well as over 40's health MOT in the old flu vaccination area. No longer offers Flu Vaccination. Crewe photo boths for printing fro mobile not always open and can be temperamental. Don't always recognise phone even if used before.

I don't think I have ever collected a prescription here without drama or issue. The pharmacists and their assistants are universally awful and rude and relish in their petty bureaucrat power of administering tablets. I guess life runs slow in Alton. The hour close down over lunch is out dated and inconvenient for anyone with a job wishing to collect a prescription. I would not recommend collecting medication here unless you enjoy being insulted or have all the time in the world. Better to use an online service

The shop part is fine and the staff who serve at the main tills are friendly, helpful and polite.The pharmacy staff, on the other hand...This week, I asked for advice regarding my baby. The pharmacist scoffed at the advice previously given by a nurse, spoke over me and then asked the next customer to come forward before I had finished asking my question. I was left standing awkwardly trying to get my sick baby back into his pram while she spoke over and around us as though we were merely a hindrance to her going about her day.My baby later required a prescription which clearly bore a label stating paediatric - further counselling required" when the assistant brought it over. No further counselling given - label peeled off and put to the side. As a former medicine counter assistant myself

Terrible, upsetting experience, whilst in pain, of being dismissed, ignored and embarrassed by the pharmacist who clearly has disdain for customers and no people skills whatsoever. An appalling level of incompetence bordering on negligence. Will not be going again.

Be warned the Pharmacy staff are rude and belligerent, lacking in customer service skills. I politely enquired around 14:20 today why the price of a product had increased and could it be double checked (when told the total amount to pay). The pharmacist glared at me giving a rude curt response. I politley asked if she could look up an alternative brand product in case it was cheaper (otherwise I would just buy the original for the price stated). She then gave attitude, huffed and stormed off. The customers behind me commented on how rude this particular Pharmacy lady always is. She proceeded to come back with a senior pharmacy colleague who was immediately confrontational tell me who else here has served it to you for a cheaper price here and when..." without her understanding the situation. I started to answer the question confused "ive been here on weekends" to be quickly cut off with "well FIRSTLY were not even open on Sundays.." I swiftly physically stepped back in shock as I became aware this was becoming an unneccesary confrontation/attack by them both and stated "I am not here to battle about prices" "I have no issue" "I was not upset I just politely queried the price". It became upsetting and intimidating being set upon like this in public
