Townsend Veterinary Practice - Bromsgrove

I have no complaints about the care and service of the vets , I marked down due to the fact my insurance claim form not sent off immediately, after 10 days and anorher 7 days not hearing from my insurance company I phoned them,they hadn't received it from my vets ,I had to phone them ,not the first time ,I can't afford to stand out of £300 vet fee ,apparently the form now goes to a care team to do but should still be done within 48 hours, within 2 hours my insurance company had received it ,I still have to phone insurance company to check they received the 2 claims.

I have nothing but praise for the staff. They were so kind and caring when we lost our darling dog. You could clearly see how much they cared. Every effort was made to support us through this most difficult time. They are clearly dedicated to providing a caring and professional service. Thank you to you all.

The table tops were so exciting, I had a great time making sure every inch was inspected for hidden foods - unfortunately it seems all of the surfaces had been cleaned thoroughly.10 out of 10 for the nail job, although quite why you decided to change my perfectly sharpened talons I will never understand.Looking forward to inspecting under the desk next time - I'm pretty certain that's where the snacks are kept (and thank you for not fat shaming me - I'm nearly bikini body ready)Fudge.

Will is AMAZING. As our all of the staff on reception. A wonderful vetenary practice. We moved there after a bad experience at another vets. Townsend was highly recommend by a family member. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. Very kind and caring.

I have a nervous little dog who will attack other dogs. I have to hold him and he is barking and shaking all the while. I absolutely dread these appointments now, the appointment time so far hasn't happened on time at any point. Today was waiting 25 mins to get seen. Made to feel a bit of an inconvenience by reception. I don't necessarily blame them, I feel a bit of inconvenience myself.I do your practice the respect to turn up on time, do me the respect of holding it on time please. I don't mind 5 mins here and there but 25 mins with an angry dog and feeling embarrassed is not what I expect.

We went just before Christmas with our poorly guinea pig Pig. They were the only vets in Bromsgrove who could see us even though we said we thought she might not make it. She was old and ill and unfortunately had to be euthanised. The people at the vets were so understanding and caring. A few days later we received a card from them saying Sorry for our loss. It was handwritten so personal to us and it really meant a lot.

Very good vets. All very kind and caring aswell when I had to have my dog put to sleep. Stayed open later than required so we could all say goodbye to her. Dealt with insurance claim for me and was sorted and paid within days. Would highly recommend.

This morning my dog rebel had to be put down, the vets and all staff were so amazing and kind and I wouldn’t of got through it without their sympathy and support as this was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do they go really above and beyond and even took time and went at the pace I could cope with when saying goodbye and gave me paw prints of my dog and a bag of his hair to keep in memory of him❤️ so so special the vets who helped me love to all of you

Our poor baby Cali became unexpected unwell today and the amazing and empathetic reception team got us an emergency appointment. We saw Will and he was superb. He listened and properly examined Cali. He explained the process and the cost and clearly explained the results. I am honestly blown away by this amazing Vets. I am relieved that in a very difficult time that Cali is receiving the best care.
