Halfords Autocentre Hedge End
Was taken to Halfords Hedge End this morning by my Daughter, the grandson needed quite a few cycle parts, we were looking around when an employee asked if she could help, her name was Ellouise, her knowledge was exceptional, very polite happy, nothing was too much trouble, now I am afraid I do not like Halfords, in the past I have found the staff lacking in basic knowledge, yes I have worked in the motoring industry all my life and shuddered if using Halfords, but this morning I really was taken aback, proper service as it should be, Ellouise even went as far to order parts that were not in stock, thank you, I hope they pay you a BONUS !!!

Halfords Autocentre Hedge End
Compared to the Eastleigh store, this place is awful. The staff clearly don't want to be there. Asked for a 15-point check, which, to be fair, I could have done myself. The staff ticked off on email that they had done all the things but didn't as i was present when it was done. I luckily got a refund. On other occasions, I've asked about things for my car, for example, a touch-up pen for paint. It says there is a guide there, but there isn't. Asking staff I'm presented with rabbit in headlight looks (no pun intended) and said we don't deal with car paint colours? It really isn't a welcoming place

Halfords Autocentre Hedge End
Absolutely disgraceful, never again. I booked an MOT online and when I arrived today I was told that a member of staff would help me in a minute. After 40 minutes I went and spoke to staff who told me I would have to wait till the end of the day. I was warned by numerous people that Halfords is really a really bad company for MOTs and Services and regularly mess people about, this is the 1st and last time I will book with them. Highly recommend using a different company. Thankfully i managed to book my car in elsewhere.

Halfords Autocentre Hedge End
The staff were really helpful, both on the phone and in person. I was advised to have a free check to identify the problem with my brake lights, which I did. But when I dropped the car off I asked if they could service it the same time, which they accommodated. It was easy to book, the service was really efficient and I was given clear advice. No hard sell which I really appreciated! The service was very well priced too. I will definitely use again.

Always a great and friendly service from my local autocentre. MOT done, warning light for my brake pads, turns out was only a wire and they adjusted and saved me well over £200. In current climate it was hugely appreciated.

Called for a quote on 2 coil springs to be replaced . The del boy on the other end of the phone told me I'd be looking at a bit of cash " to get them replaced and proceeded to quote me £550 for two coilsprings .... really ?? Needless to say I won't be using halfrauds for anything now

I had 2 new front tyres fitted to my car. I arrived at the appointed time and was dealt with right away. I left the car and received a phone call 1 hour later saying my car was ready for collection . Very satisfactory service.

James in the bike bit upstairs was an absolute legend, very helpful and knowledgeable yet friendly, bought a bike on the Sunday, collected it to my spec on the Wednesday, was made to feel very special, customer service like it used to and should be, can't recommend highly enough.

Halfords Autocentre Hedge End
Very disappointed with my local halfords- hedge end & won't be using again. I booked in and paid for my tracking to be done. They called to say its better off going to a 4x4 specialist yet they knew the make and model of the car from when i first booked . They left my car unlocked in the car park and also had to go back to get my locking wheel nut as was not put back in my car! I then went to another garage straight after, minutes up the road who done my tracking perfectly fine. And now I have to wait for the refund. Not a good experience halfords, obviously couldn't be bothered to do the job
