Learn Spanish with Ely

I’ve been learning Spanish with Ely for the past 18 months and I am thoroughly satisfied. I was having face to face sessions before COVID which were excellent but during lockdown I have been having online sessions through Skype which have also been very good. I’m preparing for my GCSEs which I will take next May and I will be more than ready thanks to Ely. We do speaking, listening and reading tasks which are very similar to what I will be asked to do in the exam. I was so happy to come by Ely after I was unable to do Spanish with my school but I’m so happy I did. At first I was concerned that I may not have enough knowledge to get a good grade but I have no concern about that anymore because in my lessons with Ely we have covered everything I need to know and more.Thank you so much Ely!Maisy

Ely has been the perfect tutor for our daughter. After switching to Spanish part way through the school year, we asked Ely to help her to catch up with the work that had been missed, she not only done this but helped her gain a greater understanding of the language in not just the written and comprehensive work, but also the oral element of the language. I had Ely as a tutor for my Spanish a level. She was always so patient and never made me feel bad if I didn’t understand something right away. She would go through things with me as many times as I needed. As well as that she would always take time out of the lesson to mark any of my practice exams as well as her watching the movie my exam was on. She was a brilliant teacher and I don’t think I’d have been able to finish my a level without her :)

My daughter loves her lessons with Ely. She has learnt so much in her first few weeks and always ends her lessons smiling. The convenience of it being done from home is fantastic.

I have been having Spanish lessons with Eli for 3 years now. I have learnt so much. The lessons are always so interesting and varied in style and content. She is very responsive to each individual student and sensitive to their abilities and goals. I am very pleased I have found such a great teacher.

I was looking for tutoring before I travel to Guatemala and Ely has really helped me progress greatly with my Spanish in a relatively short period. As well as being kind and patient if I don't always get it right or need more explanation, she is flexible and able to take time to advise about learning resources and any language questions I may have. She is very knowledgeable about both European and Latin-American Spanish and is a lovely supportive teacher.
