I ordered a chilli chicken on rice and it felt like there was no effort put on the dish at all. It tasted bland, the rice to chicken ratio was also off.

ServiceUpon arrival I was served by a grumpy lady, who looked very annoyed when I asked her for a receipt.FoodI ordered two items:-CHEF SPECIAL BRAISED PORK BELLY WITH NOODLES - These noodles were so bland literally just felt like I was eating noodles in water with two large chunks of vegetable.- Chicken dumplings with chilli oil. - Was relatively decent but not the bestSummary, don't bother eating at BaoziInn in Victoria Marketplace. A total waste of money and appalling service. I really wished I read the reviews before I visited!

Giving 1 star because 0 is not an option. Baozilnn Oxford market hall. SHOCKING PLACE. RUDE STAFF. I’ve never encountered such terrible service. Lady taking orders at around 7pm on Saturday 07 January 2023 was so unhelpful, unfriendly, we asked for 1 extra set of chopsticks, she refused to give us a set, however the tone and manner in which she responded was totally unacceptable. She actually shouted at us, was very aggressive and argumentative, she also gave us really dirty looks as we were waiting for food, She embarrassed us as customers. Absolutely appalling. The Bao buns were also terrible. I handed the food back to her and told her it was disgusting, She aggressively grabbed the tray and threw the food away. She shouted back at me! I’ve never experienced such shocking customer service. You’re taking my money and I’m giving you business, some sort of kind hospitality is expected. Management needs to be aware and do something about this woman’s attitude towards customers.

This review is for the outlet in Victoria Market Hall. Same company, same quality? We had high hopes. But boy were we disappointed.I can still taste the powder used in my Vegetable noodle sauce (see picture).Save your money, and your appetite. Eat elsewhere.*UPDATE*I took this back to the till and got a refund for the noodles. Kudos to the staff.

Went to Market Hall for casual drinks and food with my work colleagues. I had the signature prawn dumplings from Baozilnn. 10/10 on flavour! I had the chilli oil on the side cos I'm not so good with lots of spicy flavour. Only gripe is that it was £10.90 for 8 dumplings which is a bit steep but I imagine the rent for having a place in Market Hall is super expensive plus it's central London prices. Either way, I'd definitely have dumplings here again.

It's not easy to make dandan noodles completely flavourless, yet BaoziInn accomplishes that. Bland sauce, tasteless noodles, anaemic pork and two lonely hard pieces of pak choi for £12.50 - daylight robbery.

so bad. and dry. got dan dan mien. Was not it at all. it’s supposed to be spicy but instead there so much peanuts sauce. Went back and asked where the chilli oil was and was told that’s how it is.waste of money. Just noodles thick peanut sauce, dry noodles and two piece of pak choi that wasn’t even cooked. So overpriced aswell for something that wasn’t even good

Surprised to see all the bad reviews. We thought the food was yummy and generous amount. I really enjoyed the prawn dimsum. I'd recommend.
