With no irony at all this was one of the most pleasant shopping experiences I have had for ages. The guy who helped us (forgive me for not getting his name) was really helpful without being pushy, enthusiastic, informed and informative about the products and genuinely charming. He gently persuaded us to spend more than we had intended but we were pleased to do so and we're really pleased with our purchase. Honestly, our visit was a real pleasure and the service was as good or better than I've had anywhere, ever. Good man and thanks.

Friendly and helpful staff who were ready to give advice. They also were very understanding when I had to swap a couple of baking trays to a smaller size (my oven is not as big as I thought/hoped). Will definitely go back again.

I visited her to get two small knives and ended up buying a knife block and a new set of knifes. They see good value and had a great choice of items too. The staff were knowledgeable and the store was clean and tidy and I could even try before I bought which I thought was a great idea.

I have bought several knives over the years and wasted my money buying cheaper knives and not being able to test them first. The store staff were very obliging and allowed me to test all the knives on a range of vegetables without any pressure to buy. I am very happy with the quality and price. Thank you.

My partner and I really enjoyed my experience in the Hatfield shop, looking for bits before moving to a new flat it’s hard to resist not going mad spending! The lovely lady who works there helped and gave great advice when it came to selecting out knife set for the new place after I must have spent an eternity trying to decide. Only working round the corner I keep popping in on my lunch to pick up more bits! Lovely shop well presented and great customer service.

The lady that served us was lovely, when we told her what had happened to a previous item we had purchased several years before she advised us on the best way to treat / condition the new one so we do not experience the same issue again. Very Helpful and Friendly.

It's got a good range bit is a bit on the pricey side and has the concept of Typical Price" which tells me nothing but is intended to make.me think I am getting a great deal. This is an outlet mall so either its truly discounted or its just the price. The latter appears to be true so worth shopping around."

Quality products at great prices. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.I bought a chef's knife and was able to compare it to a full range of similar items. I got shown the bottom of the range right through to top of the line. I was able to 'test drive' all of the knives on a selection of vegetables that were on hand, allowing me to make an educated decision.I will definitely be returning in the future!

Had to leave a review. Rhianne i think her name was, so so lovely. Held an iron griddle pan for my father who fell ill a few months ago and was so understanding and was more than happy to hold it for us. Came to collect today and she was so sweet asking how he was etc. Great service! Thank you x
