I have attended about a dozen of the Wednesday “Methods, Materials and Skills” classes. My previous art experience was at school, many years ago, so I am virtually a complete beginner. Chloe’s informal and enthusiastic workshops are just right for me. Ability level doesn’t matter. We all experiment, learn and most of all enjoy. For those with some art skills already, this is a forum for practice and taking things to a next level. Chloe, well qualified, has strong art technique and practical experience, AND …. a wicked sense of humour. People attending her classes will be inspired!

We had an absolutely wonderful introduction to throwing with Art In Chester. Chloe was super warm and welcoming, and did a great job of introducing us to the wheel. We had loads of fun, and came away with two pots each, which we’re really proud of. I would highly recommend Art in Chester and we’ll be back for sure.

I attended Chloe’s bluebell workshop on Saturday 9th April and had an amazing experience. I’m back to art after last doing it seriously at school. I recommend her classes to anyone trying to get back into art (like me) and experienced artists out there looking for a wonderful environment in which to work and explore.

Chloe's classes feed my soul. Its like therapy for me having the space to just immerse myself in a small or longer project under her expert guidance. Chloe is hugely encouraging, she edifies her students and offers a wide variety of media and styles to study. The classes have a relaxed atmosphere and are the highlight of my week. And, in addition I have several lovely pieces I have taken home to enjoy!

I had a really good 1to1 pottery throwing lesson with Chloe. Chloe showed me some techniques, and then let me get stuck in. Really hands on lesson with the perfect amount of independent and guided learning. Also a really good price for a lesson, which also includes all materials. Would definitely recommend for anyone at any level!
